But it was a spelling error, not a grammar mistake?

    I believe it covers both.

You're getting your chromosome sequences tied up.. Links was a gay guy, who decided that he wanted to be a chick.. she's now straight though.. so I don't see where the confusion lies

    oh god no!
I've always been attracted to women, so I was never a gay guy. and nobody ever decides to be something else, you just are who you are. my gender identity has always been female.

    Not really.

Grammar relates to the structure of a sentence.

Spelling relates to the correct use of letters to form a word.

    How am I wrong?

Grammar Nazi refers to someone who corrects grammar mistakes and/or spellings?

    Can you read?

Wait, I have said the statement, "I am a lesbian trapped in a mans body" before. (in a joking manner....to convince girls to have sex with me.....it didn't work)

But you are quite literally a Lesbian trapped in a mans body!

Im aware of the term but I don't recognise it as a proper description.

Its silly as the term includes no mention of spelling, hence its meaninglessness in conjunction with poor spelling.

Its an internerd expression. (see what i did there)

    Internerd Expression?

    It's a meme.

Read up, doesn't exactly matter whether you recognise it as an expression, it is one, just accept you were wrong and stop trying to dig a hole.

Eh? Where do ye get the idea that cross dressing is a gay thing? I like guys, not guys dressing up as women. Nothing wrong with it at all of course, to each his own, but its something id feel uncomfortable doing myself, unless it was for a joke or something :pac: Sure most cross-dressers are straight apparently.

    You're a funny guy, can't accept you're wrong.

That's cool, I'm happy with it, I was right, I can leave this thread happy.

    Peace.

And no, I have never cross-dressed, and most likely never will.

Do yourself a favour. When being pedantic, don't use words like Grammar Nazi.

    The Urban Dictionary is......silly.

well, I don't really like the term "trapped in a man's body", it's my body, it just happens to be wrong at the moment. but lets ignore semantics for a while. yeah, I'm a lesbian ;)

Are ye secretly in love or something? Really really annoying when someone goes so off topic of such mundane sh1t to one up each other.

No, let us argue the smallest semantics of our posts because that will make up more right! :pac:

I wonder if that skirt is still upstairs....might give a "friend" of mine a call and see if I can freak her out! :D

    Great contribution there too.

And for people saying that crossdressing is ghey and that, I bet you wouldn't say it to Alex Reid, he's one tough Mufúcka.

I don't think people who cross dress should be thought of as perverts or freaks but i do think you have to respect someones opinion that they don't like it or agree with it. Its just their opinion.

I don't understand it so i'l leave it at that. Why a man would want to walk around in high heels is a mystery to me. I don't get it? As i am a fairly large fellow i can't think of anything more uncomfortable. Sure most women often complain about foot pain caused by the things.

But if thats what a man chooses to do, its none of my business.

well, there's a lot more to women's clothing than high heels
god knows, even I hate heels, I've got 1 pair and I despise the damned things

women's clothes on the other hand often just feel great. I think a lot of guys might cross dress simply because they like the feel of it.

To be honest with you, I don't think so.

This is AH & the poll attached to this thread does not represent the irish male population. Trust me.

This is AH & the poll attached to this thread does not represent the irish male population. Trust me.

You know if a man is a wife beater, he will convince himself that that is the normal thing.

If he is wearing a red shirt, he will think more people are wearing red shirts than there actually are.

What you preceive as true is really not relevant. The Poll doesn't mention context, it's a simple yes no. So those who have thrown on a girlfriends skirt for the laugh will say yes. It doesn't mean that all those people are crossdressers, just that they have cross dressed.

Basically what I'm saying is, I don't trust you. :D

Personally, my reasons for doing it were A) Hoping to get laid by being so out there that a girl thinks "may as well", B) For a laugh, C) For the experience and D) because I was dared to do it for charity twice(one AH beers, one actual drag pageant!!! ), and asked to do it on a radio show (don't ask) once.

I am willing to bet most don't do it for those reasons though it's just to illustrate there are millions of reasons!

And just because it's an awesome song

Heres what i think. Sometimes people ask the AH crowd about something in the hope that most of them will agree or relate in some way & so make the person feel better about themselves. You shouldn't have to do that, just be who you want to be & who cares what people think.

However if someone expresses an opinion that does not satisfy the OP, that person is isolated & demonized until they conform or leave.

I don't think more than 5% of irish men crossdress. If you think almost half of irish men crossdress you're deluded. Sorry. Most of the men that said yes in that poll are taking the piss for F sake.

    Night night.

The poll isn't asking DO you cross dress.

    It's asking HAVE YOU.

Given that someone even once throwing on a dress or whatever is likely to say they crossdressed for the laugh, the poll is probably pretty accurate! You shouldn't underestimate what people like to get up to.
