What about the private military contractors, like Blackwater, that do not have to report to a legitimate military authority, whos actions are not governed by military regulations. We hear very little about these guys on the news yet you can search youtube and find videos of them shooting and laughing like it's a game.

These lunatics are the ones that worry me. All the headers the regulary military forces reject can pay their way in to a private army and end up in the same place just as well armed and with less regulations to guide their actions

Remember if you have a problem with a post use the report function.

Did the "coalition of the willing" really expect to be welcomed by the families of people they had blown to bits?

The vast majority of civilian deaths in Iraq were caused by Al Qaeda.

    Plenty.

You are not a conniving terrorist, but up front as to your identity and allegiance.

That's what it has to do.

agh i see now , so like those paratroopers in derry on bloody sunday were wearing uniforms they were not '' conniving terrorists'' they were good guys really like the americans in afaghanstian /iraq ??

a terrorist is somebody who attacks the population , having a uniform makes not the slightest bit differnce, whether its american / british or taliban its the same thing and at least the taliban are in their own country not an invading force

".......what might have driven the soldiers to kill...."

Their training might have had something to do with it...

US soldiers are nothing more than hired killers. What they done in Vietnam was sick. Repulsive hillbilly cnuts.

Yeah you'd think most of them would be dead or retired by now, are they still at it?

Morlock and Gibbs are the only soldiers charged in all three murders, which occurred separately in January, February and May.

Morlock? You mean one of those subterranean bastards featured in The Time Machine by HG Wells? Well I'll be moose knuckled into oblivion! They shoulda seen it comin!

Well you dont want quitters do you, dedication is key if you want to succeed, "I want 100% out of you soldier" does not mean retiring:D

Another point is, its reported that the victims were non combatants which might not be true. Alot of Taliban fighters only pick up their weapons when it suits them and considering the area these guys were stationed and that the victims were men, I'd say its very likely they were Taliban.

Very likely eh? Ah sure any male from Afghanistan is Taliban so. Tis all grand like. May as well just herd all the afgan males to one part of the country and gas them all.

    Tis war after all yea?
