Cant wait till that stupid ****ty "war" is over. Really getting sick of soldiers getting killed for nothing and then controversial crap like this happening.
Can someone tell me what have they achieved over there, or defeated? Bar themselves.

Well most defence analysts agree that the war destroyed the logistical and training capability of al-Qaeda, which the Taliban had refused to do.

Anything concrete or worth anywhere near the amount of lives? probablly nothing.

The taliban are a guerilla army and no guerilla armies wear uniforms. The taliban are a guerilla uniform because they have inferior technology. they don't have fight bombers that cost $50million. If the yankee cowards stop using their cluster bombs, tanks and gunships and make it a fair fight then the taliban can start wearing uniforms.

Whilst I agree that not wearing uniforms is not a reason for the enemy to cut of body parts as trophies, it is ridiclous to say that not wearing uniforms is somehow alright because its harder for them if they do, its harder for everyone.

Im sure it would be easier for the US army to carpet bomb northern Afghanistan to end the insurgency, that would not make it alright.

And honestly, the last line really makes me think of some North Korean "comrade"

The US have no right to be occupying Afghanistan. They should leave immediately.

International law my hole. The yankee warlords don't give a damn about international law. They invade first and then set up some so called UN international occupation force when the damage is already done.

Only because they were caught. We'll never know how many of these are covered up internally.

Just like the My Lai massacre was only investigated because a journalist was brave enough to expose it. There were a 1000 My Lai massacres that were ignored.

... Are you aware of how stupid this is?

Yes, people have to be caught to be prosecuted.

And the US military will make sure their crimes are never outed. Lets not forget who sets the laws in the first place. Saddam gets hanged for being a war criminal yet Bush is now sunning himself on a beach somewhere.

Do you not see the flaw in your argument? The US military outed these soldiers, according to the scource that YOU supplied. So, yes they are enforcing the laws after they have been breeched, as they should be.

Bush is a different matter, I seriously doubt the US military has the authority or power to prosecute him, even if they wanted to.

A dude I know that served in Iraq nearly sprayed an entire crowd of civilians.

They turned up to laugh at him trying to revive his mate that was killed by an IED.

So they throw a couple of dumbass rednecks to the wolves every now and then. It still covers up the fact that the responsibilty for these massacres rests at the very top. These poor rednecks are dehumaised in training and encouraged to be racist and islamophobic. They are turned into trigger happy killing machines.

A couple of the guys from my hometown worked as mercs in the Congo in the 60s. My mother remembers one of them brought home an ear necklace to show off.

Many soldiers are trained to turn healthy people into a pile of smouldering body parts, to do it right they need to have a similar mentality as this guy... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VlUgs1o2gcE
Keeping a few souvenirs is hardly worthy of the news.

I'd probably do the same if someone invaded my country.

Did the "coalition of the willing" really expect to be welcomed by the families of people they had blown to bits?
