Are you serious? Of course we shake it...5 times, then slowly pull out the nozzle, if its still dripping then put it back in and shake it again vigorously.

I aint gettin petrol drips on my clean mini skirt.

I don't just shake it, I lift the hose, to make sure none is trapped in the U of it. Man, I've been living in Cavan too long.

In reality MOST men do not want petrol/diesel dripping down the paintwork of the car so shake it before taking it out of the car.

The reason i prefer him to fill is that i find it hard to keep it to the nearest 0 say €30.00, I always go about 5c over

I certainly shake it a good few times while it's still inside (just at the edge) so that when I fully withdraw it, only a few drops will come out rather than a steady dribble.

I tend to hold it firmly, make sure everything has left the tube and gently place it back, vigorous shaking is gonna cause all sorts of upsets.
