    I heard the crowd went quietly when The Tivoli got shut down during Ferry Corsten's gig.

    Kudos to Steevo(???) in Alchemy last night, mainstream yet mixed up enough to be very listenable. Good night all round.

    try this out for a music video (Arcade Fire) using HTML 5.
    It will ask for an address where you grew up to link in with google maps/earth and anything other than an city centre address in Ireland is going to be a fail so pick a major location or world landmark even if it's just for the display.

    Also requires Google Chrome but worth it.

    that's pretty cool alright. But I couldn't get it to work, and I tried O'Connell St, Grafton St etc.......how much more city centre can you get????

    Yea I had probs with any Irish address I tried for my wife or kids or friends.

    But having grown up in Sydney Australia it was handy enough for me.

    Quick question not really worthy of its own thread;

    in traktor pro, how do you edit the settings for when your recording as now when I record it records in WAV file and very high bitrate which makes the file way too big to upload. Cheers.

    I think it only records in .wav format. When you're done recording you need to convert it to mp3 yourself. Suprised me too. I started with VirtualDJ, which records to mp3, a handy feature that I was amazed Traktor didn't have.

    cant seem to find it but somewhere is this thread a couple of you guys were looking for laptop stands, i'm ordering stuff from thomann in the next week and im stuck on 190(already have a stand in there) so if anybody wants me to throw one in for them i could do it, only prob is that i live in mullingar so maybe you wouldnt be willing to collect

    I'd be interested in one of the cheapo stands too, if you haven't placed the order yet.
