    Hey all.

I may be wrong on this one, but I picked up a foam swimming noodle in Tesco for about €3 and it's working great as a foam roller so far.

    Looks like this: Swim-Noodle-float.jpg

Feel free to correct me but I'm definitely feeling it when i use it!

Anyways, if's it's valid it might be a good cheap option for someone. Also cos it's so long just cut it in two and you've two rollers :)

Are they not very soft though? If not, good idea.

They're not as soft as you'd think... there's a certain emount of give but it's still hard at the core. Hurt like hell when I did the outside of my quads!

They are good for about a week...depending on how susceptible you are to gravity...if you are very susceptible to gravity you could probably wreck a pool noodle in 2 sessions :)

If in all honestly you want a cheap alternative to a foam roller...I think you are better off 'manning up' and going the other way...get some PVC pipe...most of the athletes I have graduate to that anyway.

Yup, we use the hard inserts from carpet rolls, pretty much the same thing, and you can get them free if you smile politely to the nice men in the carpet shops :D

Will I need to show a lil leg to get it though? :D I may just be able to do that!
