I've been meaning to do something like that for ages and I finally got some time this weekend.
This was an old board I've had since I was 16. Couldn't part with it even though I haven't surfed it in over 10 years... (or more like 20)
So I decided to transfer what I do on canvas onto the board.
    Acrylics and posca markers.

    Awesome stuff.

Sold my first bowl today, chuffed. Sold it basically for the price of the wood but still happy that someone wanted it. Baby steps :)

Nah was an olive wood bowl I made a few months back, I just re-turned it on the lathe to tidy it up and sealed it in wax.

Looking back to before christmas and looking at what i create now i feel quite happy with my progress :)

Made this on my day off; it's yew again but with some lovely burl :D unexpected too which is always a lovely surprise

Again quite thin walled and gently curving in at the bottom. I like the piece that's missing from it.

First attempt at inlaying wire, not perfect but not a bad attempt. It's cheap silver coated brass or something, the wood is sycamore with weird grain.

Hey guys, some fantastic work here :)

Thought I'd share my stuff, it's cross-stitch. Been having problems with image codes, so here's a link to my cross stitch album on Photobucket, it's public. Hope you like it!
