1) second cousin twice removed to the guy who used be an extra in the first episode of the second series of Glenroe

2) My second cousin's brothers stepmother used to work in The Post Office in Shrule

3) my neighbours cousin's father got released yesterday from jail after 10 years. He's all over the paper so I guess I'll be getting into Krystle tonight!!

It's possible that through a long way back, I'm related to the guy who founded Hennessy brandy.

One of my distant relatives was one of the flying earls called Richard Hennessy. We think he went to France and, lo and behold, the guy who founded Hennessy brandy is also called Richard Hennessy.

At least, this is what I've been told.

My aunt told me that Colin Farrel is a grand nephew of my Auntie Mariah. I never knew I had an Auntie Mariah, and when I tried to figure out who she was all I got back was "Ahh sure she lived up there (she wasn't pointing anywhere). You know her alright." So, I take this claim with a very large pinch of salt.

The same aunt claims that Diana Ross is a cousin of mine. When I asked why is she black and why are we white, I got the reply "Sure don't you know that all Rosses are your cousins". And that settled that one.

So judging by my aunt's claims, I have no famous relatives, because if I really did, I know she'd never stop on about it.
