As a teenage girl the law doesn't apply, but if I were a guy I'd have been considered a proper statutory rapist for like two months as my birthday was in May and his was in July. (Don't ask why I went out with a younger guy >_< It just sorta happened and then it's hard to get out of things.)

Your brother must be amazing looking, or he had er.. real talent >_>

Jesus.. I love the way he makes a distinction between the age for just sex and relationship stuff. It's true, but... it's very... the sort of thing you'd expect from a guy.

If I was a guy I probably wouldn't have a problem banging a 16 year old girl tbh (legal issues aside). It's only sex. Though considering the fact that my ex is younger than me, and that my boyfriend is my ex's brother who's my sister's ex's brother, I guess I really don't have proper standards anyway and shouldn't give my opinion.

Biggest age difference I've had was too big for me to mention so =/ But when I was 16 I wouldn't go more than 5 years older. 24 is just too much.

    Night night Kitkat ^^

    DBZ suckssss
I do that because most women I know that age would quite simply not have the maturity I would require, but ones I've met at least 21yrs old would have grown up quite a bit by then you know! But then again, you know its true and expected it, no harm done :p

For most guys it would be that, and legal issues stopping them...and Ireland has one of the highest ages of consent in Europe anyway, up until a few years ago it was 12 in Japan, and I still think it is 14 in Spain.

If I was a 16yr old girl, 24 would be too old for me too.
my bro went out with somebody at 16/17 that was a 27 yo model...I'd say he was the mature one of the two. depends on the people

lalala excuses to have sex with 16yos ITT
I'd say that was a bit strange for people to see, especially for a 16yr old lad!

Its a good rule of thumb for relationships aye, for sex well 18+ is the general rule haha:p

I would normally agree with that, except that according to that rule I'm 1.5 years too young. Oh well. Only a guideline anyway.

It's 13 in Spain, but there's a LOT of people who are against the limit being so low. In fact it's (regardless of what they said when they came up with it) mostly based on physical reasons rather than on a person's maturity and ability to accept the possible consequences of sex. And anyway, there's many ways they can waive the legal age of consent and instead apply a limit of 16 rather than 13. Also if the child's parents report it it's generally (but not always) immediately considered that the child (under 16) couldn't give consent.

Kitty woke me up at 9 am and then I had to do some stuff and proof read some other stuff. Je suis trop fatiguée =(

Aye, and guidelines are only there to lead the way, so they dont always apply, as in you & bf:)

I would be against that too if I was Spanish tbh, would much rather if there was say a general age of consent at say 16 for all of Europe than have it split to high/mid/low ages as it is now...and yeah the parents are usually the ones who can ultimately give the consent required, usually it'll be to someone they have gotten to know.

Kitty waking you up will make you happy though ^_^

Other stuff, maybe not so much:p Siesta later maybe? :)

Gonna go offline myself until later, have fun! :D

Recipes using Philadelphia anyone? I bought a tub today and don't know what to do with it tbh!

Also, does anyone here drink rice milk? I'm trying to wean myself off some dairy products. I presume you chill it in the fridge as normal milk.

    Cheesecake?
My friend swears by this sauce he makes with half an avocado mashed into a couple of tbsp of philly, salt and pepper. I haven't tried it myself though. He spreads it on a flour tortilla then fills it with lettuce or something and chicken pieces before rolling it up. Apparently it's very nice, and I'm sure we could come up with some sort of vegetarian filling. :)

My thing is rice cakes topped with philadelphia cheese and spicy salsa.

Or you could make philly cheese and walnut sandwiches.

Or put a tablespoon or two of it in a nice warm bowl of green vegetable soup. It sorta melts and swirls and it's nice, but it's more of a winter thing.

Hmmm. Make a quiche and use some of the cheese to make the filling creamier? Or lasagne, and instead of using a white sauce or ricotta you could use philadelphia to make it cheesier.

Ok, I'll stop now. Getting hungry here.

I like rice milk. It's quite sweet though and I wouldn't recommend using it as an alternative to cows milk because it doesn't really have the same (or even remotely similar) nutritional profile. I really like by itself when it's nice and cold. As an alternative to dairy you might want to look into almond milk or some other nut milk. Have you ever tried hemp milk?

Not a cream cheese fan, no recipies sorry! But I've drank rice milk before, it's not too bad after a while takes a little getting used to...chilling instructions should be on the carton:)

I don't know if you can actually get it in Ireland as I make it myself. It's got a kind of earthy taste. I like it, and it's very good for you.

Nah… she left like 5 minutes ago.
Someone on boards sorta offered me a kitten or two when they're born in October so I suppose I should be happy. :)

I'm having some serious cabin fever here though, so.. Like, 5 days of not going out at all other than to go to Superquinn and stuff. It's f-ing annoying. Oh and today I was outsmarted by a bee in my room. She must be dead somewhere by now. I tried to rescue her with a glass and a sheet of folded paper, as I normally do, and she wouldn't fly to the other side of the glass so I could close it and let her free outside. She played mind games with me, she did! I wish I could say she escaped by herself, but I don't know where she is.

And yes, I always treat bees as feminine. Also spiders and other insects that are considered feminine in Spanish. And Death is a woman. La Muerte.

Jesus... I think I'm a bit weirder than I thought I was! :o Thank God for freetxt.

    How's kitkat? :)

    What about stuffed baked mushrooms?
I made these last night stuffed with fried breadcrumbs and onions and cous cous and a bit of soya milk but could have done with something like that to moisten it up.

Never had rice milk, I try to avoid dairy myself, as in I wont buy milk/cheese/yoghurts/butter etc. Although not doing too good recently, always ends up being cheese in everything I eat out. I use soya milk and soya butter etc although tescos near me dont even stock the soya butter anymore.

I'm disappointed, I had it in my head that resident evil 3d was out soon but it's not out till September. I still have 2 of the old ones to catch up on though.

You should catch up on those two before this one then...I wanna see that one too:D

Looks bad to ya maybe, but I know and love the story of it from seeing all episodes of the cartoon from start to finish, so it had my interest already even if it was in 2-D:)

A story about nations who have affinity with one of four elements, and need one person to be reborn (the Avatar) who controls all four, so he can stop a massive war...and you dont think you'll like? :D

I must remember to tell you that I'm making my own milk, when I've babies in the future.

I'm only getting a new one if this person can catch the mother. He (she?) is going to need people to take the kittens because all the animal shelters seem to be full now.

Yeah, going out tomorrow night. This summer I seem to go through phases of going out for a few days, then getting bored for ages. First cycle of that anyway. Hope it doesn't repeat itself. And I fully intend to get hammered.

The bee population is rapidly decreasing though :( And as usual, it's all our fault. Damn you humans!!

Well in Spanish all nouns have a gender, so insects also have a gender. People think it's funny that when I talk about specific insects I've met (I know that's not the word haha) I always say "he" or "she" rather than "it". Sounds more personal that way. The gender I'll pick will always be the one I'd use if I were speaking Spanish, or in certain occasions the one I'd use in Portuguese. Like, cicadas, dragonflies, and ants are all feminine in Spanish, whereas a stick insect is masculine (that took some effort! Can't come up with many masculine insects it seems). A locust can be both, depending on whether you say 'el saltamontes' or 'la langosta'.

What else can you put in it that's not cheese or dairyish though?

Anything can be stuffed with quinoa! You can also make a mixed vegetable filling. Like, the last time I had stuffed baked mushrooms (this week actually!) I put in cubed sautéed aubergine and courgette, with a tomato based sauce. I did have to cover it in cheese in the end, against my own wishes, because otherwise it'd be too low calorie for me to have as a meal.

I've never used cous cous as a filling for mushrooms. Sounds nice. You could experiment with other grains as well, like buckwheat or something. Or even have like, use stirfried vegetables with some sort of asian inspired sauce. Mmmm bean sprouts.

I just knew you would bring up women and milk production:pac: Waited to see if you would take the bait lol!

Yeah that was kinda obvious. Considered not doing it but... Broody little kid here, me. >_<

I'm still quitting drink but I think I deserve more than 3 drinks after nearly a week of being bored. I doubt my bf will pick me up (keeps me out of trouble!) but I think I'm not that crazy so I should allow myself to drink. Right? Do I sound like an alcoholic yet? And why does all this text play in my mind with an English accent? It's actually Tony Stonem's voice >_>

Some ideas to think on, thanks.

Damn! I was afraid it would be sweet and I don't think I'd be able to stomach it. I have an aversion to trying soya milk even though I use soya butter. I was looking out for almond milk in Tesco but of course they didn't have it. Maybe a health food store might.
Hemp milk? That exists? I dunno, I associate hemp with clothes and it'd be weird man.
    Lol that's true...wiki it is! :D
Not a cream cheese fan, no recipies sorry! But I've drank rice milk before, it's not too bad after a while takes a little getting used to...chilling instructions should be on the carton:)

Yeah, I find it a bit bland tbh but I'm always giving it another go because everyone raves about it.
It's always one of those "you'd have to get used to it..." that's why I've been avoiding soya!

    Quinoa...mmmmm:) couscous...mmmmm:)

Shouldnt have done it, could have fooled me:D Broody already?
    /not a kid...

More than 3 is ok though, more than 6 is asking for trouble:pac: You never know, he might still if you ask nicely enough!:)

Then again, if you tihnk you wont go crazy, then surely you have reason, therefore not crazy or alcoholic...

You do it because you've been sucked into Skins...and his voice is very catchy.

Why not try? I'm sure people would pay for lessons!

You're not the only one, I've a mate who gets headaches from 3-d too, and some sort of motion sickness:(

Zoolander is on tv now:) And for anyone that cares, Tesco have a variety of Haribo jellies that would be suitable for us veggies, if you have no issues with shellac or carnauba wax >.<

I love pretending to be a kid. Don't burst my bubble! Besides, I was your little baby remember? :p Or some such nickname. *has a terrible memory for not random/stalkerish/important things*

6 isn't that much when you consider that they'd be spread out throughout the night. Actually, no, we always pre-drink (stupid Hard Rock Café being nice for pre-drinking) so like, a few first and then spread out through the night. Point is, 6 isn't a lot.

I never ask for a lift. He always offers, or if he can't make it he'll tell me first. Hasn't said anything yet because he's just so damn busy lately. I'm not gonna ask because I shouldn't just assume that I can get a lift off him.

I can't teach. I can't help but assume that people must already know what I know, or grasp it very fast or something. Strangely enough I used to give JC Maths grinds. (Then again, who the hell needs Maths grinds at JC level?)
I'd love to be able to teach languages because that'd mean not having to look for a job. I've been approached by a lot of people in the past asking me to given them private lessons, but I couldn't accept knowing I'd be a crap teacher.

From a vegetarian point of view, what's wrong with carnauba wax? My bf might actually be interested in those, thanks =] He's linked jellies to the bits of meat he always removes because he finds them disgusting, so now he can't eat jellies at all. Or anything with gelatine in it.

You can make your own almond milk! It's very easy. You just soak blanched almonds overnight, then blend them with water, filter it, and add a pinch of salt and a bit of sugar. :)

Was that not the name I was to give you, that you chose? :p:) You can be a baby, they are supposed to be lovely, kids are not lol!

Oh i thought you were *only* having caipirnhas...my mistake:D And spread out over the night...whats not to like...they have nice food there too if you are getting some:)

Ah yeah I wouldnt just assume so, you'll get home anyway:)

But if they ask you for tutoring, then they must not know what you know hehe! I agree about the job thing though, very de-motivational that!

Actually ignore the wax, its the shellac to be worried about...silly me :(

I'll put the name of those jellies up later, gonna need to go offline for an hour or so...

That is quite cool actually...does it taste anything like a store-bought version?

Heading off for a while to watch The Big Bang Theory, back in an hour or so:D
