Did this man even exist? He's the most famous man on the planet, even after 2,000 years. Even more famous than Bob Dylan or Elvis (not trying to be funny)..

I believe he existed; but don't believe he was/is the son of God and all that. But, if you think he was, then cool!

    So who was this guy?

Seriously, the evidence suggests that he really did exist. But who was he?

I'd consider myself as agnostic - but am still interested to know who was this man Jesus?

Even from a non-religious aspect, who was this man Jesus? Do you believe he even existed?

"I am an historian, I am not a believer, but I must confess as a historian that this penniless preacher from Nazareth is irrevocably the very center of history. Jesus Christ is easily the most dominant figure in all history."
    H.C. Wells

I believe he existed and is the son of God but it's hard to believe he walked on water and stuff in that light. A lot of it's over-exaggerated.

Yeah I believe he existed - just a dude though, perhaps with some sort of neurological defect, if a decent guy.

A guy in ancient times who just tried to get people to be nice to each other? possible, maybe probably. A guy who was sent from Krypton or something to save us then died, waited till the end of the weekend to come back, flew back to his planet then never bothered reappearing to sort out peoples misinterpretations and bickering about his message? nah.

    Blessed are the cheesemakers indeed.

I believe he existed but I don't believe everything about him! Such as find it hard to see that he was concieved by the virgin mary miraculously unless she had an annoymous donor!? How he possibably not have had some kind of intimate contact with a woman for those years that he lived? I wouldn't be surprised if the theory behind the da vinci code was closer to the truth? especially in the case of mary magdalene...other aspects I only half believe actually happened...I know sound biased really. I firmly believe Jesus Christ did exist regardless of what has been said in the bible!

one of many claimants to the title 'saviour, son of god' at that time - got lucky when the romans picked his cult to represent the ideology they formulated to further their power

i have my own theory on his so called crucifixion.

Jesus died den came back as a zombie...the 1st zombie. den to explain how the cave he was placed was opened, its very simple. Grave robbers moved the stone in front of the cave, only to find a very dead and very hungry Jesus. He ate dem, leaving nothing behind.

There the crucifixion story told in a more believable way :D

You could say it's 'hip and edgy' to be an atheist. I would say it's people enlightening themselves with common sense after generations of fearful oppression from the church.
