Eh, im lost - i was trying to get you draw MS paint depictions of exercises. A trend, if it kicks off, the forum will all the better for having :p

Power/Full = where your hips are in relation to your knees at the lowest part of the movement

A "power" clean (of any sort) is where your hips are higher than your knees at the lowest part of the movement (ie you never break parallel)

Anything else is "full". But in weightlifting circles, unless you qualify by saying "power" it's assumed to be a full clean. So a "clean" is a clean where you catch the bar with your hips elow the level of your knees.

Dude, this should get a thread of its own.. Fantastic resource to be giving away for free. Let the people know d'Oracle, let the people know!!

Maybe a mod could stick it in the basics thread.

Clean: - bringing the bar from the floor to shoulder height in one continuous motion with a full squat.

Power clean: - bringing the bar from the floor to shoulder height in one continuous motion with a quarter squat.

I didn't find them bad to be honest just weird. Just do a burpee but obviously stop when your chest touches the bar. Then clean it up and jerk it above your head without taking the hands off the bar.

I don't care about the source, that's wrong.

"Power" is any time that parallel isn't broken after receiving the bar.

thats what i take those definitions to mean though.

    Clean - break parallel

Power Clean - dont break parallel (1/4 squat)

Yeah, but you can go further than a 1/4 squat and still not break parallel.

Gonna be a fun morning tomorrow

“Babies Lullaby” (30-minute cap of work):

    Part 1: 0 – 100 Burpees
5 power snatches (95/65-lbs) at the top of every minute,
followed by AMRAP burpees for the remainder of the minute.
Continue this progression until you reach 100 burpees.

    Part 2: 0 – 200 Double Unders
    Upon reaching 100 burpees…
5 Overhead Squats (95/65-lbs) at the top of every minute,
followed by AMRAP double unders for the remainder of the minute.
Continue this progression until you reach 200 double unders.

I'm sick of a cardio focus so back to weights I guess.

Looking at a two day split.

    Day 1:Chest and Legs
    BB Bench press
    Squats
    DB Bench Drop set
    Deadlifts
    Chest flys
    Lunge/Switch Press-up super set

    Day 2:Shoulders and Back
    Military Press
    Bent over Rows
    Shrugs (Barbell)
Lat Pull down/DB Shoulder press super set
    Weighted reverse crunch (Roman chair)

My main concerns are having the big 3 on the same day, I just find I lift better with chest and shoulders on separate days. Would I be better with chest/back & leg/shoulder

    Pullups needed here man.

I'd also make the shoulder superset something like DB upright row/DB shoulder press..doubles or singles doesnt matter

Spent a few hours suit shopping yesterday. I couldn't find a single pair of pants that fit me. Very frustrating.

I decided a while ago not to watch those Pixar movies till I have kids.
After all whats the point in having films that "the adults can enjoy too" if you go with adults....

Sorry, I forgot to add that I start with pull-ups, just as many as I can do, hoping to increase the max number slowly.
    I'll give that Super-set a shot
