    I want to be shot into the sun.

    Failing that, freeze me until space travel is cheap enough to shoot me into the sun.

    Failing that... Well. Cremation is the nearest thing I guess.

    Weeeeird, I was just talking about this earlier!

    I feel really, really strongly about not having an open coffin. It just creeps me out, everyone staring at me and touching me and even kissing me and stuff when I can't stop them. Yes, I know I'll be dead and won't care, but I've told everyone that I'll haunt them if they do it.

    Apart from that, I want to be harvested for anything that might help anyone else - yes, even my eyes - and then I would ideally love to be just thrown into the coffin like that, no embalming or chemicals etc, no weirdo makeup that I'd never wear when alive. If no one is going to see me, then it shouldn't matter.

    After that, they can do what they like with the coffin, which will be a Catholic ceremony and burial in a graveyard.

    And OP, um, sorry about the death of (if I'm correct) your granny! :eek:

    Cremated, and then have my ashes mixed in a keg of beer and served at the reception. That way I'll be part of everyone! Plus they can salute my remains in private later on that night, shed a tear, and then flush the toilet!! Sniff, I'm welling up here myself just thinking of it...

    No, not my Granny..but thanks anyway.Only heard about the woman and never met her.

    I want to be cremated. I don't like the thought of things eating me. Or potentially being buried alive. Burning alive would be quicker. And afterwards people could use my ashes as fertiliser =3

    One of my Grand Aunts did that. What is strange is that they returned 'remains of the remains' for burial, after whatever had been done was done. Students, as far as I can remember.

    I wanna be frozen and then brought back to life in a few hundred years, either grafted onto a very hot female body OR have my brain inside an android/robot a la Asimov's creations. I would be worried about some kind of power cut though whereby my freezer gets shut down thus denying me my awesome future.
