What additions would you like to see in next COD?

What additions would you like to see in the next COD? Now I dont mean the usual "get rid of commando pro", I mean what extras, if any, would you like?

Personally I'd like to be able to check challenges mid-game.

And I'd like it if buildings took damage like in battlefield. This woul sort out camping to a degree cause if someone is constantly hiding behind a wall or in a room then you could send in an RPG and take out the wall.

Cant think of anything else right now but I'm sure I'll come up with more.:D

A little box in the corner maybe showing your current killstreak?

Maybe even after like 100 semtex kills you can set the delay on it, not to a huge amount like a minute but to be able to vary if by a couple of seconds? I like lobbing them over small houses and stuff but they usually explode before they reach it

I hope they keep the titles / emblems options aswell in the new game.

Ooh almost forgot. You can limit yourself to like 1 TI every game? every 5 deaths or something. Goodbye Boosters for the most part.

Grenade Launcher goes to last attachment unlocked after 500 kills with a weapon. That way you have to actually play a lot with a gun to unlock it. Currently you get it after 10 kills which means every kid/noob etc in the game has access to it in any weapon nearly from the start. Also, remove Danger Close. Really doesn't serve any purpose apart from helping people spam with the GL. Another option is to make the Grenade Launcher a perk 1 rather than an attachment. So if you go for Grenade Launcher, you can't use it with OMA or Scavenger as well.

Think the idea of a TI is actually reall good. You can respawn close to the action in big maps. But unfortunately it's been ruined by boosters. The idea of putting a limit on it isn't bad, but it makes it useless to the genuine player if you can only use it every 5 deaths. Maybe make it a time limit, so that you can only re-use it after 60 seconds. So for genuine players that should be okay, but for boosters it might make the process to boring for them? Although boosting itself isn't exactly a fun way to spend your time.

Previous versions of COD flashed up with your killstreak, like 5, 7, 10, 15 etc. Think it was WAW.

explosives are spammed enough without giving people more reason to use them...

remove tubes completely, keep the thumper as a secondary. or have the tube be the very last thing unlocked like extended mags is now on most guns, make the little fcukers work for it, 500 midair FMJ kills or something

I wonder what killstreaks will be in there, since the campaign is supposed to be taking place in the 70's up to more modern times it'd be cool to have old helicopters like Huey's instead of Apaches and Pavelows. UAV's, care drops, airstrikes should stay, get rid of EMP, nuke, ac-130.

No more Commando, the most idiotic perk ever invented.

No more Noob-Tube, or at least make it your first perk instead of an attachment.

Give all weapons more sway so that some skill is required for longer shots.

Allow players to customise their character.

Allow players to choose their own maps so they are not forced to keep playing on maps they don't enjoy.

Make it so that you can't be spawned into a game which you just quit 10 seconds previously.

Give the player the option to not join games which are already in progress.

And finally, add a little bit of humour into the game. COD tries to take itself too seriously.

These are included in MOH comng up. Dice made the MP section of it so the sniping will be somewhat more realistic eg having to compensate for bullet drop over distance.

Agree with all of those, the customisation thing I think was talked about for Black Ops, would be pretty cool to have different helmets or stuff painted on them, things like that.

Defitinely agree with the being dumped into games that are nearly over, I've lost count of the amount of Domination games where the score is in the 190's or the first thing you hear is "enemy nuke incoming!"

A map playlist is sorely needed, I hate Derail, seriously hate it, and it pisses me off having to quit a lobby that I was enjoying or had decent players because not enough people voted to skip it. If you could customise the maps/gamemodes and do your own version of moshpit it'd be cool, say you can select 6 maps and 6 gamtypes, and the matchmaking system will only look for games of that nature on those maps.

Also make the sniper rifles less accurate when quickscoping or hipfiring at close range, the other night i was quickscoped by a guy on Bailout and I swear he aimed NOWHERE near me, the hit marker was about 3 feet to my left. That'd make people snipe properly instead of legging it about with a 50cal rifle like it was a shotgun.

More humour definitely, we dont need comedy sound effects or anything, but a few giggles would lighten up the crankyness of the COD community in general, make people stop freaking out about their kdr.

Keep the callsigns, I'd lose the ones relating to weed though, seems pointless to have drug references in games and perpetrating the stereotype that all gamers are weed smoking stoners.

Thats a good one, you can keep one weapon and one perk. its a pain having to get your favourite attachments again, especially for guns you dont unlock until the 30's and 40's ranks.

I agree with the sniping part mentioned above. I could count on one hand the amount of times I've been killed by a quick scope and the hitmarker was actually on target :mad:

The game is far too generous to quickscopes

I also have to agree with the quick scope thing. Does my fukn head in.

I think the customize player idea is great.
And the idea about selecting what maps you play is another good one.
You should be able to have different killstreaks for each class too.

Mentioned this to my mates the last night haha. You're hardly going to get a 7 kill streak on a Anti Air Support class are you? Uav/Care Package would be handy there

Think linking killstreaks to classes is a great idea! I have running classes I'd love to have the UAV, Counter UAV and Pred on, a silent class with maybe 3/5/7 on and my Scar class with 5/7/11 or something.

this and id like the knife to either have no range or take 2 shots. the grenade launcher should take your first perk to stop people using it.

Nice in theory. But very hard to implement in practice I'd say. Lets say we both pick our maps we hate. Lets say there are 3 each, but say we both pick one that overlaps (Fuel??). So that's 4 maps we won't play when we're on together. But now extend that out to 12 players that are in a lobby. In all likelihood you'd end up with maybe 2-3 maps that no one hates. So you just keep playing those few maps, and begin to hate them. It'd make joining a lobby very hard too, if people already complain about being dumped in midgame. And can you imagine how hard it would be in Ground War??

In Battlefield you can choose your maps. I'd love to be able to remove underpass or that other new rain level

I'd like to be able to join friends games easier. You know whan you get the 2 options "Invite to Game" and "join game" when you click on your friends name in the PS menu, why didn't they include "join waiting list for game" and you automaticly get put into that game as soon as someone leaves?

I'm in agreement with Enigma, some form of protection against the knife.

Also, for sleight of hand pro I think you should be able to switch between primary and secondary faster.

I'd like prestige rewards that aren't useless, new guns or camos would be a great incentive to prestige, rather than the silly titles you get in MW2

Get rid of of all the ranking up system, yes it can be fun and all, but I think all guns/perks should be available from the start for everyone as not everyone games the same time as others.

The rank prooves nothing anyways apart from how long you've played the game etc. The rank could go up if you achieve certain chalenges or something of the sort. Just my opinion ofcourse but I'd like if it was like that but I know it won't as there is just too many kids that like ''ranking up'' getting to 10th prestige. :pac:

Why does it baffle you? And why would you get rid of grenades and snipers? That would be a bit daft.

What I'm saying is the ranking system is pointless really especially the prestige. What's the point on doing the same thing over ten times? Okay yeah if you don't want to you don't have to, but even ranking up to 70 can be annoying. M16 and AK47 ain't available till rank 40 and 70, two of the best assault rifles in the game. What if some newbie is playing the game and doesn't have these while the people who have been playing longer than him have all the guns.

I just think it's unfair.
