I got it in school and at home - then social services were called - life was never the same afterwards :(

Yep, and it was a great, well-rounded, well-thought out course that taught us everything from pill use to condom use to what to do if you find out you're pregnant to various STDs and how to check for them, etc. I learned a lot and it made me a far more responsible person.

...But then again, I wasn't taught in Ireland by a pack of sexually-frustrated nuns.

I have no idea why but I knew about sex from a very early age.. I was the sex ed for most of my friends haha! They did bring people into our school though who were very informative... watching some poor guy struggle to put a condom on a banana in front of 30 giggling 16 years was hilarious! :pac:

I was in a CBS, and they lumped sex ed into one hour along with drug awareness.

Here's a condom and here's a lump of hash. They both send ya to hell. I'm 25 OP.

I got two goes of it, one in 5th or 6th class and another in 4th year in school.

For some reason we were split up into male and female groups in the primary school one... no idea why.

    Mine was from a nun..

she brought in a small book and talked about getting hairier and you might have wet dreams!! that you might want to wash your bottoms before your mother sees them and that it is completely normal..

Thing was we were all 16 and had all this going on for years before hand.. No talk of pregnancy or condoms..

I was kinda surprised at the last abortion ref that most of the girls weren't in favor of it and most of the lads thought it should be up to the person to decide not the state.. Quite shocked at that debate..

Ours was done by a nun. 6th class I think.

Message was condoms are bad, they take away from a precious gift that God gave you. That's why you should wait until marriage. Can't remember much else.

After the main talk, we had to go see her in groups of 5 to ask any sensitive questions. We got our spokesperson to ask why some condoms are flavoured. She said 'Well, where do you taste things?' and fixed us with a stare. I think one of the lads said a half-hearted 'Er, eww' to make her stop.

Anyway, it was ****e. The majority of my classmates have since knocked up some slapper & reproduced many times over.

If you want to ask a question put exclusively to 18-25 year olds, then do it on Bebo. Boards isn't the 18-25 Club.

We had sex ed from an ugly female religion teacher. The highlight was when one of the lads asked if pulling out was as effective as the pill! She answered very seriously that it wasn't.

He must not have heard her as he has 5 kids now.

I was 14 when my dad sat me down with a serious look on his face and said, "Son, we have to talk about sex".

And I responded, "What exactly do you want to know da?" :pac:

And coincidentally, 9 months later my younger brother was borned.

I'm still trying to figure out how I came along...

In 5th year we recieved a few short classes which were entitled sex education, but in reality they were nothing of the sort.
We were just shown images of different venereal diseases and told how dangerous sex is.
It would be funny if it weren't so pathetic.

So they taught you how to smuggle drugs into prison?! Wow, progressive school...

I learnt most of what I knew as a teenager first from listening to late night radio shows (13 and knew everything about DP :D) and then finding new things out from talking to girls. Nothing at home except for my father occasionally bragging about doing two chicks at the same time or doing some chick in a train, and nothing at school except for the basic biological stuff.

For some reason I can bet that it was the pretty much the same for most kids in France :pac:
