Without Paul Galvin in the Kerry team, i am a little more hopeful than i otherwise would be. If Limerick can put two decent halves together then we have a chance. Problem up to now in big games is we fall away in the second half. Come bursting out of the trap in the first half, go 6 or 7 points up but then fall back into shells in the second half. We need to be ruthless. I expect us to try blitz Kerry in the first half - if John Galvin and Jim Donovan can win the midfield battle (and i believe they will) it lessens the supply of ball into Cooper and Donaghy. I expect Stephen Kelly to act as a fourth half forward to try curtail the surging runs of Tomás O Sé. Quick ball into Ger Collins and Ian Ryan will be essential, if its slow and laboured then Kerry will gobble it up all day. We'll need to get at least 14 scores if we're to come away with anything, so Ryan, Collins and Kelly as well as half forwards Seanie Buckley and Padraig Browne will all need to chip in with scores. Actually the only thing that does annoy me about the team selection is the constant placing of Padraig Browne at wing forward. He's a half back and nothing else. He has no attacking radar and runs down blind alleys. His deployment at no. 10 has never worked in previous matches so i'm bamboozled as to why he's retained there. Either put him half back or dont put him anywhere!

Tomorrow is your chance boys, near misses and moral victories no longer cut the mustard. Time to stand up and do yourselves justice!

Very difficult to watch. Why are they wearing basically the same colours?

Even the shorts are the same.

spot on. its pure ridiculous. this day and age where most counties have away shirts anyway and both of these counties have them. the camera work on tv3 is awful enough without this stupidity. all boils down to stubborn county boards playing hardball with each other.

Sickening thuggery from O Se. That should be a straight red, he came late with an elbow across Kelly after he'd struck a point.

The Ref is having a laugh. Tomas O Se should be off the pitch by now, instead he hasn't even got a yellow.
Limerick have been good up to now but the wind is a big advantage.

In fairness to Aidric, he's dead right that Tomas should have been sent off by now.

Limerick playing well, especially John Galvin and Stephen Kelly who have both been excellent.

I said it during our games with Cork that Maher is nowhere near a Championship footballer - he's been absolutely shocking again today.

He has connected with Kelly's face twice with the elbow and not even a yellow. He then yellows Galvin for a bit of handbags, inconsistent stuff and frustrating for players. I'd have preferred a bigger lead at half time, that wind is serious as seen from the kickouts. Still Limerick are playing well and it's still open.

Ref is a complete joke!! Everything soft goin Kerrys way!! O se should be sent off already and he's not even booked. Kerry frees bein brought forward for interference and Limericks not vein moved for same!! Probably has cost Limerick 3 to 4 points more of a gap.

I thought he gave soft frees to both teams tbh, but Tomas has certainly been extremely lucky.

As the half wore on Limericks style seemed to change a bit and they had less success.

Kerry will go on to win with the wind at their backs I think.

T O' Se should be off. Limerick are holding their own and I hope they prove me wrong by winning the match.

Kerry never change jerseys the sly hoors.

Think Mayo gave up changing jerseys against them because the favor was never repaid.

Ever since they got hammered by meath in 2001 in their away they haven't been too inclined to change.

Ya they need to get back to playing the corners with Ger Collins. The scores are going to be harder to come by in the second half so they need to be clever with possession.

A great game for ur Sunday afternoon! Limerick definitely deserve the win. Kerry should be down to 14 men, o'she's is lucky to be on the pitch. We're all just wondering why Limerick's Johnny McCarthy is nicknamed 'Johnny Concrete'?

Quirke's lack of mobility on display again there...

    Or not.

Stephen Kelly is all over the park, the man has some engine. Ian Ryan goes missing in a Munster Final again.

Kerry are beginning to assert themselves on the game. Beginning to take off with the wind. Should win with a few to spare. Limerick will struggle against the wind.

I can't remember who it was, but someone on the Cork v Kerry thread recently said they couldn't understand what the fuss was about Declan O'Sullivan...

    Lol.
