Just sold my car this afternoon for 2000 euros and it got me thinking what would be the quickest way to double it or make more money with out major risk. Any ideas?? I don't want to gamble it or blow it on something stupid, chances are i'll never see this kind of money again in the current climate.

Use a photocopier. It's risk free and limitless and totally totally illegal!

I was thinking of a sure fire thing to buy and sell and make a bit of money out of, i'm not greedy and I don't mind if it takes a while as long as it's legal. And i'm not going to buy and sell cars, it took me six months to sell the last one and only got about half of what it was worth.

In that case, if you're very patient and don't mind a 50% return instead of a 100% return, how about this - http://www.anpost.ie/AnPost/MainContent/Personal+Customers/Money+Matters/National+Solidarity+Bond/?

Buy BP shares. They are bound to bounce back either by an aggressive takeover (rumoured to be in the pipeline - no pun intended) or on their own if they survive the clean-up bill and get back into long term profit again for this year!

if you aren't willing to take risks or break the law then you might as well buy a load of lotto tickets and hope for the best

    We finally have a winner.

OP if you're money is in 20's, get it changed into 10's. Then you'll have twice as many monies.

Long term profit this year!!!!!!!!!!! It's going to take them 20 years to pay the compensation, never mind the clean up bill.
