Quickest way to double 2000 euros???

Just sold my car this afternoon for 2000 euros and it got me thinking what would be the quickest way to double it or make more money with out major risk. Any ideas?? I don't want to gamble it or blow it on something stupid, chances are i'll never see this kind of money again in the current climate.

I was thinking of a sure fire thing to buy and sell and make a bit of money out of, i'm not greedy and I don't mind if it takes a while as long as it's legal. And i'm not going to buy and sell cars, it took me six months to sell the last one and only got about half of what it was worth.:rolleyes:

Long term profit this year!!!!!!!!!!! It's going to take them 20 years to pay the compensation,never mind the clean up bill.

Yea but part of that will be covered to some extent by insurance - even a minor part.
The costs of the whole mess will be forked out I presume over a number of years, not just in a couple of this year lump sums.

The breakdown of profit and loss for the year then will reflect future capital gains, expenditure, losses, etc, so there will be some sort of profits on the spreadsheet breakdowns integrated with future estimate projections taken into the mix on said spreadsheets totals.

They know they have to keep their happy shareholders too, no matter what.
There might be no dividends this year but the hope of regaining them later with be taken into account too.

When you find a sure-fire, risk free way to double your money, you can then employ the same criteria using the 4000 euro, then using the 8000 euro and so on..
