I hope Forlan and Suarez can just nick it for them. ¡Vamos Uruguay!

Glad, I didn't watch the french game. 0-0 and that throws the group wide open now.

I was impressed by Uruguay, in the same way Inter impressed me in the Champions League semi-final. Serious defending, but little excitement.

Hang on a second here, let me get this straight. You are watching a football match?!

Maybe you forget Inis Oirr 2006, I watched every single match that year! Love the World Cup!

Argentina versus Nigeria, only 6 minutes played and it's already the highlight of the World Cup so far!

Just wanted to say I'm top of the FF league.

Getting my bragging in before I drop down table!

Can't wait to see England Rooney +10 in action later.

    Hopefully see something like this:

    Hart
    ---Johnson
    Terry---King
    Cole----
    Lampard
    Carrick
    ---Lennon
    Gerrard
    Milner----
    Rooney

I'd be much happier watching him than Carrick.
    Hope he's fit to play.

I honestly don't think he'll risk him this early on. He'll save him for Algeria I think.

But if he does play, then just swap him with Carrick on my team.

I'm glad I picked Mascherano. Netted me a good few points today.

I've only had one player play so far. Park.

    9 points :D

34 points so far, but it still says I have 7. Hasn't added my Argentina players' points to my team score yet.

They went to an ad break after 3 minutes. When it came back England were celebrating...

So I heard. Was just reading about it on the Soccer forum before I saw your post. Are you watching it in HD?

Yep. It didn't happen on ordinary ITV I gather?

I wouldn't mind, I looked up the codes to tune it in to my Sky box 2 minutes before kick-off so I could watch it in HD...

EDIT: Though I should say, the fact I have Gerrard in my fantasy team softens the blow :D

As a goalkeeper (and a slightly shít one at that), I feel a lot of sympathy for Green.

On a side note, are all the US players wearing the same boots?
