Here's the story...my German Shepherd had a litter of 9 puppies eight weeks ago. I found loving homes for eight of them and have decided to keep the last female.

I 've had many dogs down through the years, who were named as follows:
Murphy, Bailey, Paddy, Whiskey, Brandy, Romeo, Juliet, Shakespeare, Oscar, King, Chema, Martha, Lizzie, Ella

This time though, I haven't a clue what to name her......any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...

Call her Syndrome. And give commands telling her to sit down.

as seen is most lifts i thought, a great name for a dog "OTIS" especially a bigger breed, maybe more suited to a male though........

This couldn't be simpler. Call her #9 (Number Nine). When you are asked about her unusual name, and you will be asked, you can tell them the truth "I ran out of names" or you can make something up "That's the number of nosy morons who ask stupid questions that she's bitten. So far."

I did once know a horse called Number Five.

If you're adamant on a strong female Irish name call her Cú Cailín.
