I know there have been some god awful ones over the years, but I don't think anything beats what I just heard on MTV 2.

Idlewild's lyrics were pretty bad. Little Discourage had some of the worst lines I've ever heard.

I really like a lot of Idlewild's lyrics. Haven't a clue what they're about most of the time and they can be a bit too try-hard-clever for their own good some times but I just like the way Roddy Woomble phrases things.
Little Discourage wasn't their best but I can still think of much worse - cracking tune too!

Have to say I love the Manics but Nicky Wire's written some clunkers over the years, The Everlasting being perhaps the worst offense
