'Cleave' can mean 'stick together' or 'separate'. It's its own antonym (a bit like that guy that was his own grandpaw).

I have noticed recently that women taking their picture for putting up on the internets have this habit of taking the shot from arms length while pointing the camera down at themselves from a height.

I have ascertained they do this so that others can enjoy their expensive hair do's that cost them a pretty penny or two.

If I spent that much getting me fuking hair done I'd be photographing it too!

Its more to do with getting the pathetic pout just right.

You;'re forgetting The Zany Pout too.

Maybe they are doing it like this to get the face and the cleavage in the same shot ?

Plus it helps hide the double chin and makes the face look thinner.

I'd go out with me testicles al fresco for all the women to drool over, but the boys in blue wouldn't be too happy about it.

For a minute there, I thought you were talking about your balls.

Why do girls complain when a guy has a gawk at their cleavage? They obviously feel flattered and wear low cut tops so guys will have a stare. Nothing wrong with it in my opinion. Nothing wrong with eyeing up someone of the opposite sex, just as long as you don't take it too far. It's not as if a guy is going to rape or sexually assault you because he stares at your cleavage. My female housemate often snaps at me if I have a quick glance when she's wearing a low cut top and it's quite annoying. I mean, I'm going to look no matter what and it's only for a second or two. Chill the f**k out and get over yourself!

    p.s. Nice pics, Op.

    she coming to beers?

If so I think it might be a case of the beers spilling coming to her

    Is maith lion cleavage

I actually remember the first time I really noticed cleavage, I was at my mate Kevins house and his Ma came over to ask me if I wanted icecream (!) and bent right over in her baggy 80's t-shirt and I just stared down that top and could see nipples and all.
She promptly put her hand to the neck and covered herself up, didn't like me before and liked me less after but that was the first time I said to anyone 'I saw yer Ma's boobs' and I've been a happy pervert since

ooooooooooohhhh, must start a peeping toms thread

In the shop where i work, behind the counter is about a foot higher than the shop floor. Therefore im always in that (un)fortunate vantage point of being able to see cleavage from a relatively acute angle. I always try to look away as i don't want to make the customer nervous but sometimes you just have to take a peak and admire the curves and aesthetic beauty that is the female form.

Was I the only one who thought this thread might be about Lipset and Rokkan's theory of social cleavages?.

Girls: Do you purposefully wear low-cut tops to show off the twins?

Well, you'd have to be pretty stupid to "accidentally" leave the house wearing a cleavagey top and not realise that they're on show!

A lot depends on your body shape ... if you happen to have biggish boobs, it's often hard to find flattering tops, and tops with lower necklines can often look better than ones with high necklines. Do you ever see women wearing high-necked tops who look like they have just one big massive boob underneath...? Not pretty!
Do you get creeped out when you know a guy is looking, or is it flattering?

I can't say I'd get creeped out, really. It's common knowledge that boys like boobs, if you have them out on display then you can't exactly get offended if you get attention because of it, can you? It's always nice to be checked out, but at the same time I wouldn't exactly call it "flattering" ... especially if it's done in a pervy way. We're not living in the middle ages; I think you're entitled to dress as you wish (within reason!) without people automatically assuming that you're easy or whatever.

Based on some of the comments on this thread ... if I were ever to attend a boards beers, I would be wearing a nun's habit! :D

I cant find tops to fit over mine so i normally wear a scarf too. And lads no matter how hard you try you are crap at hiding that you were just staring at my boobs.

That's cos we're not actually trying to hide it (or at least I amen't). If I get met with the typical "eh my face is up here!" comment I reply with "Yes, but I can see your face any time".
