lol. Them being stuck could be handy too though - less chance of radomers jumping into your 'taxi' late at night. Plus far less likely to have to be desigated driver if nobody can get into your car.

Must weld mine shut. Though tbh, I use them so little they'll probably rust shut on their own anyway.

my friends 407 is hilarious. the lady in the dash keeps complaining about everything from tyre pressures to lights, on a loop. it would drive me insane, but he manages to ignore her :)

I had several in the past until I got sick of them.. they have the same high pitched sound for everything.. seatbelt, doors, tyre pressure, window washer bottle low, fuel low (as in 120Km left!!!) .. in the end I just resigned myself to that fact it was going to be almost constantly going "bong.. bong.. bong" :D

Take out a big loan and buy a car you can't afford. That's what I done, you won't regret it. it's my way of being forced to save

    My recent cheap cars

1997 rover 400 turbo diesel, bought in 2007 for €1300
    1993 Prelude bought in 2009 for €850
    1992 Merc e200 diesel bought in 2009 for €430
    1997 Rover 216 Coupe bought in 2009 for €800

The cheaper the better I reckon.

I did that too back when loans were cheap and easy to get. My current car I bought outright and it is so much nicer being out of debt. There's plenty of good cars for small money. It's running costs + tax + insurance that kills you :(

the reason i waited till now to do lessons and but a car is because i didnt want to have to get a loan through college or now. and i only have 5-6weeks left in the job and nothing for after so a loan would be an insane idea for me...so i will regret it :P:D:D
