    LOL.. its very good though.. especially if the surface of the manifold is uneven.. actually on second thoughts gasket maker might be better unless its a tractor :D

    haha. Ah the manifold gasket is fine...Its a thing that goes unfort. Hasn't been changed ever and on 85k so I'll change it. It's over due :p

    Hang on - if you know that much about cars, why don't your back doors open? ;)

    knowing stuff doesnt make you able to fix it...... i know its the comfort module...i know wher it is& what it does... i know what happened to it....it has to be replaced..... so unless i get a spare 150 yoyos the doors stay closed!! good enuf 4 ya?:p

    My first reaction was also - wtf? Is the comfort module the circuit that locks out the controls to the rear so the kids can't be climbing out the window? :confused:

    If it was me I'd be thinking there might be a break in the wire or a blown fuse on the circuit itself. Then I'd be thinking I'd be so long looking for the problem myself I'd go for the lazy option and just get it replaced. Sadly, electical stuff like that usually costs an arm and a leg unless you do the work yourself. But if it stops Steve from climbing all over you with his VD.....

    Pain in the bum job on a k series is the inlet manifold gasket, access is not your friend.

    I know yeah. I'm an expert on it now though. This will be the 3rd time :D - (Not on the same car don't worry). Done many a head gasket as well...strangely enough I enjoy the job ha
