    Cheapest option is:
    Easycap €9.99 from ebay

    easycap-usb.jpg

It will record in SD (Standard Definition) and uses composite / svideo.
I use it to record everything, from my Nes, megadrive, xbox to VHS and converting old video camera movies for relatives

You can't// you have to play SD with the above. if you wanna play & record in HD, you have to buy a HD PVR like me :(

    About €200

Your opinion, I happen to enjoy the videos.

Obviously in my opinion. I'm right though. Just play the game if you like it.

I record my gameplay (Xbox, but all the same) From a DaZZLE dvc100. Cost my 50 for everything I needed (RCA/Splitters/Shipping etc)

The quality was a big issiue for a while until i found good render/recording settings....Of course by good i mean good for the time. Now you really have to record HD Videos with the HD PVR Or BlackMagic, People wont waste there time watching SD (For the most part)

I gave up on recording about 2-4 Months after starting as it was just boring, and wasn't worth my time. It also eats Memory (Harddrive)

I honestly wouldn't even recommend recording console gaming anymore as its just not worth the time you put into it

I used to record with dazzle on cod 4 , not because i'm a self-obessed loser, but for a laugh , usually private matches with my mates and i used to stick them up on another site other than utube . I used to enjoy the editing ,and was just a bit of fun between me and my mates.
Yeah the dazzle quality was crap.

Some users are reporting that they bought the Hauppauge from Amazon but the model they received was an older model which did not work? (see here @ 01:37)

Do any of you know what the most recent model is & how to identify it?
