Hahaha. Women drivers, men drivers LOL.
We're all driving on Irish roads here. There's no subsection of drivers covering themselves in glory here!

Dont forget BMW drivers and Taxis own the road!!! We are merely in the way...

One of these days someones going to lose a car due to this, it enrages me when inconsiderate pricks just drive into the petrol station and hop out leaving their car in the worst possible position. What makes it even more blatant is because it's a small town they leave the car running while they go in. I swear to god I'll only be able to see that happen so many more times before I have to nick the car for their own good. They need to be learned.

When men are finished filling up the car they shake the nozzell to get the last few drops out !

When women finish they get a tissue and wipe the tip of the nozzell!

I don't just look at people's mirrors, it is however one of the many things that I am observant about.

When I am driving behind someone in Dublin's traffic, you can tell by glancing at them if they are aware that you are behind or alongside them or not.

Everyday driving down the quays, I can tell by looking at someone if they are oblivious to the fact that I am there.

Usually I will pull back as I know from the way are driving mindlessly, that they are just about change lanes without indicating.

Especially Ormond Quay, the amount of women that have caused me to break, by pulling out in front of me without indicting, because they want to turn left into Jervis St is crazy.

Women also will rarely glance over their shoulders when changing lanes.

A load of bollox. Men can be JUST as bad as women. In fact, there have been 4 occasions in the past 6 months or so that I've been driving in the overtaking lane on the dual carriageway and MEN have nearly crashed into me trying to move into the right hand lane because they didn't check their mirrors/blindspot.

And I'm not being a feminist here. I do admit that there are a lot of bad women drivers on the road (I often get road rage at "f*cking women drivers!). But there are just as many bad male drivers. Irish people in general are terrible drivers.

    It's not, you missed mine.

If it was in the correct position, I would be looking at their eyes.

Course I am paying attention, that's how I know what is in front of me and it's just women I notice as I also mentioned that I notice that guys tend to have their mirrors positioned correctly :)
I think you only notice women drivers cos you're a bit of a perv ;):p

Its quite simple to use a petrol station:

    1. Drive up and que if applicable

    2. When a space opens up proceed to said space in order.

    3. Open petrol cap and proceed to place correct pump into vehicle. (please ensure your vehicle is off)

    4. When finished, place pump on the holder and replace petrol cap.

    5. If there is a que of cars waiting to use your pump, take note of pump number and the amount you have dispensed into your vehicle.

    6. Get in car and proceed to an empty space to park your vehicle while you pay for your fuel. Remember not to park in front of an exit or in a location that may hinder someone else's movement in or out of petrol station.

    7. Proceed to counter, tell attendant which pump number you were at and how much fuel you dispensed.

    8. Pay, get back into your car, and get the fcuk out.

    Noone's arguing that point.

But in general I find that women drivers and drivers from a certain country are the worst to drive behind. I'm not saying their worse as a gender but I do notice that they tend to be more likely to be in the wrong lane at a round about, and they never want to let someone out of a space or junction.

But they are generally prettier than male drivers, which is a plus.

So I had to go to the shop today for petrol and all the pumps were full. So i pulled into the side to wait for one to open up. One space opened up and some bitch pulled in before me, Annoying, but i'll get over it i said. This woman didn't even need petrol, just groceries, so why the **** couldn't she use the ample car spaces instead of pulling in front of the pumps? Grrrrr, anyway i said nothing. At the same time there was another woman who had pulled in to get petrol but after concluding her business at the pumps, was having a nice 10 minute conversation with another woman. A space finally opened up for me and i pulled in.

People, if you don't want petrol, don't park in front of the god damn pumps, and if you do, get in and out as fast as possible! - (I know what the first reply will be!) My only other conclusion is that women should not be allowed near petrol pumps.

Anyway, AH, any petrol pump stories to share?

    Well said!

Oh, they "can be", just not in general.

That is just anecdotal evidence, which is just ..

    I'm kidding :p

Actually, on a side note - from the age of 16 to 26 I drove with very long hair myself, I had natually blond highlights in my hair and from behind it looked like Farrah Fawcett was driving.

It used to be hilarious to have guys pull along side me and give me the eyes for a split second to only then see their jaws dropping :p

Ok I hate to generalise but every time I use the conveyor track car wash thing, I always get stuck behind a girl who ALWAYS puts the hand break on and stalls the whole thing!!!!!

Leave the engine running, put it in neutral, leave the hand break off, it couldnt be any easier

AND!!! Its ok to go in a couple of seconds after someone, you dont have to wait until they get through the whole car wash before you put in your code and start your car wash, thats the whole point of it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I do :)

That's my point, women do not use it to see what is behind them, they use it to check their hair and lipstick.

They only use the vanity mirror while parked, I am referring to what they do while in traffic.

When I am driving I will catch guys looking in their rear view mirror all the time, women rarely do so.

They drive with tunnel vision, pretty much how they go though life actually ;)
    Load.of.bollox!

I use my rear view mirrors all the time.

    1. To check if there's a hot guy in the car behind me

    2. To see if the hot guy at the bus stop was checking me out

    ;)

About a week ago I went into Tesco petrol station Dundrum (cheaper), anyway, always a good crowd. I waited my time and I got my fill up as I walked into the shop there was a (Big Fat Bitch motor mouthing at the attendant behind the counter).
From what I picked up she must have asked him a question about her car which was parked off the fore court area, as if broke down.I asked you a fcuking question you fcuking prick, "your not a mechanic, I didn't ask you were you a mechanic, you fcuking tool you. Oh this one was a fcuking nut, I felt sorry for the guy behind the counter, his face would have lit up a dark room he was so red.
As she was walking from the shop she was shouting back into the shop you fcuking arsehole go back to your fcuking country. Under normal circumstances I would have tried to help anyone out, but not this time, I was ashamed to be Irish with her carry on. What a scumbag!

Oh same station some days later lady drives into space with petrol tank on wrong side ,driving a Merc, result held about 6 cars to ransom, They couldn't pass her while she was on the phone and chatting. The front of the Merc was blocking cars from driving out..

I prefer Texaco. I find Topaz, Apple, Tesco, Esso etc petrol burns quicker and I have to fill up sooner.

GI Janes about 5.2 feet in height , driving , rather trying to pull up to the pumps, driver door opens 5.2 GI Jane parachutes out the door of the SUV sun glasses across head while on mobile trying to pump petrol. Puts in €80s worth of fuel, goes to shop with about 6 kids. Spends about €10 on rubbish for kids, pays by visa, leaves shop and gets back into SUV after 15mins drives off still on mobile. What a joke....

134.9c is expensive. 131.9c is more like it, though there's lots of places selling it cheaper again.

I think I saw her doppelgänger in my local garage a few weeks ago.... The thick bitch hopped into a space I'd been waiting for, then put diesel into her petrol engine, cos she was too busy gabbing on the phone to notice what she was doing!!

    Oh how I laughed.........:D
