We'll never know, Sadiesue. We'll never know.

Although in the face of this thread, I can only now assume that it was a squirrel.

I went in there this morning and the little fecker had a little nip at my feet, lookily although fairly sleepy I managed to dart twinkle-toed out of there. Initially I thought it was a rat but then i went into the back garden and peered in through the bathroom window and it's a madlooking little grey squirrel running around the bathroom looking nasty. I've left the bathroom door open hoping he'll leave but I think he thinks it's a trap. Maybe it was the conspicious trail of hazelnuts that gave me away, anyway he's not playing ball and refuses to leave manically guarding his new home. I'm not sure what attracted him to the bathroom in the first place but I've had cross words with the missus about her hazelnut scented shampoo being the possible cause. So now the girlfriend isn't talking to me, there's a psycho squirrel in my bathroom and I am in desperate need of a leak....advice needed please
You need to make a choice.
Send in the missus....Or send in the girlfriend.
Actually send in both, surely one will survive, and then dinner each evening will be much less awkward!

I hope the OP comes back to tell us what happened. I just don't think I could take another "There's Something Living In My Sofa" anticlimax.

Someone said it was a sealion. Had to be.

Did the OP duel the squirrel yet?

If we never hear from the OP again, we can assume he fought the squirrel, and the squirrel won.
He could be homeless now, while the squirrel lives it up with all his wildlife buddies, in the house.

A houseowner who has been tormented by a rare breed of bath squirrel has been drowned after attempting to tackle the creature. The Bath Squirrel or Sciurus carolinensis, is an unheard of breed in Europe, and experts believe somebody released the creature after finding it difficult to maintain. "These squirrels have a natural habitat in bathrooms, and have a tendency to lure unsuspecting victims in, with a running bath. With their poisoned teeth, they cause their victims to pass out, and ultimatley drown in the bath" said Professor Ian Maguire of the ISPCA. It is believed these creatures are in low existance, with figures believed to be less than 500 in the world. "Seeing one of these creatures is extremley rare, and finding one in Ireland would never have been thought possible" said Prof Maguire.
The victim, as yet unnamed, had reported the squirrel on Tuesday evening, after finding it trapped in his bathroom. It is believed the victim went in to remove the squirrel, after instructions he received on a popular bulletin discussion site. It is thought that the squirrel attacked the victim and subsequently passed out from the poison. Neighbours were alerted after they noticed a large amount of smoke emitting from the house, and a strong smell of hazelnuts. Authorities say that the squirrel has subsequently been captured. The victim is survived by his cat Punk.

I'm hearing reports that several other houses in this area have gone silent this morning.

For anyone else living nearby, our prayers are with you.

Nearly wet myself reading that crow story.

Come on OP pics / video! Not forthcoming yet so I reckon he took a big durrrty ****e in the jacks and is to ashamed to take pics. Maybe due to deforestation etc the squirrel went looking for a log and happened across his whopper plop!

In military science, they talk about the need for speed, surprise and violence of action when you're trying to take a position or clear a room. This squirrel obviously knows its trade.

I don't mean to alarm anyone, but if this thing arms itself with a toilet brush, the OP is in for some serious trouble.

Well, at least it's not a physical one.

Get off the LSD and wait for it to pass.

He was still alive at 17.20 this evening, and logged into Boards. It looks like the squirrel lost the battle.

I don't know what to say really....our relationship is in the early, excited-to-see-you, butterflies-in-stomach phase and I don't want to jinx it. I am not texting back immediately and all that malarkey
