If I'm wearing hightops with skinny jeans then I'll tuck them in, only the hem, and then fold the bottom of the jean leg over the top of the hightop to make it looks as if it's folded over it.

    Looks well :P

I'm trying to figure that out , if you have your jeans tucked into your socks, how are you having your jeans folded over the top of the hightops? You're fcuking with my head, sorry :D
But by virtue of wearing skinny jeans you already look ridiculous.

    What??
    I've never had any complaints.

    .

Well because the hightops have a....high top...the trousers wont go all the way down, so I'll tuck the hem in, then fold out over the hightop, looking as if it's sinking down over it, rather than folded in, ya get me?
    Pic.

I think this trend is what really merits a debate. What the heck is the story with this?!?!? "Da central heatin' system" I heard it called one day :pac:.

Aren't you female? Skinny jeans look ridiculous because if a guy gets a boner it's all there for the world to see, now I am not adverse to getting naked in public, but that's just plain bad.

    I totally get ya ;)

It is evident from your diagram, that in order to combat the lower trouser gathering common with the use of hightops and skinny jeans, you tuck your jeans slightly into your socks and let the overflow fold over the hightops. Got it. I imagine that requires some shrewd and calculated manoeuvres on your part, I am impressed!

still I think docs are far superior myself.

    ;)

But I do prefer baggy ass jeans on lads tbh.

Used to do it when golfing on a very wet course.

I've been informed that one of the original reasons this was done was to aid the young gurrier in shoplifting. They can put stuff into their trackie bottoms and it won't fall out the end.

I know two teen girls who are doing this. The conversation in the room turned to this trend. I said something along the lines of it's scumbag fashion. The teens defence was 'but everyone is doing it' my answer was 'well then to everyone else you all look like scumbag' in their self contained world of 13-18 year olds their reply was 'but everyone's doing it'

I don't know if it's any worse or better than the white socks but they're wearing day glow coloured socks. I hate day glow coloured 'fashionable' clothes but I'm wondering this this stupid trend cancel out the stupid day glow trend when applied together:confused:

If this is true then we've all turned into our parents! Criticizing the next generation for what they do.

But if they really are tucking their pants into their ****ing socks to be fashionable pikeys must have taken over heat and cosmos magazine.

It takes an awful long time to do it, and if it fails I always have bobbins to use!

Sometimes if I'm going to the shop in my sweatpants and it's raining out, I'll tuck my sweats into my socks so they don't get wet at the bottom.

Sometimes when I'm cycling I'll tuck my trouser legs into my socks. Or on one of the very very rare occasions I'm wearing wellies, like if it's a horrible rainy day and my mum needs help in the garden, I'll tuck them into my socks cos it's easier to get the wellies on. But on a normal day, no

Midnight, I would recommend just rolling up your jeans at the bottom instead

Ah sure there is something different every few years. What is particularly annoying to me is the douchebag look. The popped collar, the "messy" hair, the smug grin and sense of self satisfaction. Basically this http://douchetool.files.wordpress.com/2009/06/1163955324-douchebag.jpg

I was going to say what I do but this being after hours I'll just get a pics or gtfo

    Ah but there clearly are;

    1.cycling
2.boots, not too sure about cons...hmm
    3.wellies
    4.warmth (inside only in winter)

I'm not going to put the rain people in that list, just roll up your jeans.

I feel sorry for the people who are more embarrassed to fall off their bikes than tuck their trousers in

Tuck your knob up under the waistband of your jocks.

That's what everyone does(if you have a knob that is)

Strapping it to your leg is also an option.:D
