Still no letter, just a lovely bill! Would love to know the pass mark tho, I'm hoping its roughly the same as last year.

Reading through all these posts, it really is the strangest process! Sense would tell you that the earlier you applied, the lower your UID, and the earlier you sat your IST...I applied within the 1st week if I remember correctly, my UID is late 4000's and yet I only sat my IST on the 24th March, yet there's plenty on here with much higher UID who sat theirs right at the beggining of March. For such an important and massive recruiment drive it really does work in mysterious ways!

And either we've a very smart boardie group this year, or all the fails have hidden! Should I fail, i'll be telling ya's! (and then i'll hide) :D

did mine on 18th of march and uid no in the 9000's, still no letter:confused: really cant fathom their system at all!!
Hmm, my uid is early 8k, I did my ist on the 28th march, some of the people in the same ist had uid's in the 4k range, I know this cause they read them out before we went in, so I really don't think the uid's make any difference..

Anyone in the south get a result yet?

Hey tashamc... I'm from the south.. I did mine the 13th of march and I haven't received anything yet.....

seems like its all taken at random then as from what everyone is saying there is no relationship between IST dates, and UID number and dates everyone received their results.

maybe there is hope for me yet!! :)

i think the pass was 53? how many questions were there in total? was it 70, if so the pass mark is 75%. If i got 75% in my uni exams i'd be ecstatic lol. Im suprised i passed, i missed about 7 questions over both sections

only people that will be able to tell us the pass mark are those that got a fail letter. last year it was 55, might go down as there are slightly less applicants this time but not likely! :(

maybe it was 55, a friend told me he failed by 2 marks, maybe i mistook him saying the pass was 53

Well got my letter today and didnt make it, I got 52..1 mark off the pass..quite fustrating. Does anyone know if it is possible to request a remark? I know it is probably pointless but if its all run through a computer there could be a chance I didnt colour in a circle enough for it to pick up. Nothing to lose I guess...

Anyway congrats to all who have passed and good luck with the AC

PS. My UID was in the high 9000's so everyone who is waiting should be put out of their misery today lol :)

Sorry to hear that christov9, i could well be in the same boat!

The ist is checked twice by two people, as far as i'm aware you can only have a recheck for the ac..

Hi everyone well done to all that have passed, and for the rest of us the wait continues... Have we established yet has anyone from the South get their results yet? Sounds like they are going by IST dates at the min but we cant be sure I suppose, atleast that might give the rest of us a bit of a boost till the "LETTER" arrives lol

Thats good to hear Im not the only one. In fairness I was told 6 weeks and that was the end of March but when I saw everyone getting what seemed to be all passes at the time the old panic set in and I thought the later letters had not passed but obviously with your great news today becca there is still a glimmer of hope! Hadnt even taken into consideration that the letter might have to do a worldwide tour before getting to the south but its a good theory and Ill stick that one! :-)

Forestgrump- Atleast we are all in the same boat down here I suppose then as beca said there may have been some issues with regards the post delivery due to the air space issue so all is not lost yet. So chins up and we may keep eachother company till we hear!

I love it Beca! I think we might just start one... From the sounds of it we wont be getting compensated by Michael O Leary for the inconvenience!
