We need to score some goals, the title could very easily come down to GD.

With only one point in it at this stage it's pretty unlikely imo.

Chelsea would have to lose one and we'd have to draw one.

I think it'll be Chelsea draw at Anfield and we win our last three, or else we both win all three and it makes no odds.

I expect Chelsea to win their 2 home games but the Liverpool one I'm not sure about. That could be a tricky one.

I actually think I'll be rooting for Liverpool to win against West Ham and keep alive their CL hopes because if they're out of the running then that could play into Chelsea's hands.

Going to an 18th birthday on Friday night, early kick-off Saturday is a kick in the nads.:(

2nd May should be interesting, house full of relations for a Communion and some 'Pool supporters coming over, with me being the only United fan.:D

    City 0 - United 1
    Spurs 2 - Chelsea 1

Football, bloody hell as Fergie himself would say. 92mins at City and we were ready to give it all up....now its back on again. You gotta think Scholes goal psyched Chelsea out a little bit, which just goes to show how important to play your game first and get the points on the board.

If it is gonna be title no.19 though, I feel we will need a little favour from Liverpool too. Who wrote that script I wonder!? :)

Make the 18th last well into Saturday evening, problem sorted!

Spurs for us next weekend - hoping Spurs don't make a hattrick of it.

Anyone know how long Terry is out for? Is it just the single game?

Chelsea at Liverpool is the big one for us. Don't see Stoke doing us a favour next week.

    Fcuk it

We win the next 3 we will win the league

Scouse will deny Chelsea 3pts at Anfield

    Believe

I have a feeling they might, hopefully they play Pavlyuchenko as the lone striker.:p

    One game, I think.

They could cause a few problems with Terry out. Lawrence is always a danger from crosses and set-pieces.

Not getting ahead of meself here, but when you think of it Chelsea have never won a tight title challenge. In 07-08 they bottled it on the last day of the season against Bolton when they drew and we won, and the rest they won they were miles ahead.

United are well used to this. Scholes, Giggs, Neville, Rio - all these guys know how to handle pressure. Sometimes playing sides such as Sunderland and Stoke can feel like playing Barcelona when there's the pressure of the title on your shoulders. Those experienced heads will stand us in great stread.

I think there's going to be a hiccup by Chelsea along the way, and it's up to us to be in a position to capitilise on it.

I only wish 'pool were closer than 8 points to Spurs for fourth position, encourage them more to do Chelsea over next week and to be honest I think they would have a good chance without Terry to contend with. I have to thank Spurs today but getting greedy they could easily have taken Chelseas goal advantage away from them in one game.

Some people are never satisfied huh :D

What a great day. Thank you Spurs.
The title is very much back on, something that I thought was impossible the other day before Boggles lynches me :D

So Archi, first round on you tonight? After MOTD of course :D

Liverpool possibly helping United to overtake their 18 titles really is one of the stories of the season. The fixture computer is a clever little boy isnt he ;)

They wouldnt throw the game would they? I can just picture Bruce Grobbelaar coming outta retirement for that one...:D

Don't believe what you read in the match thread, it's a load of shít, tbh.

Utd played very well. Midfield was nice and composed, great performance from Scholes, started most of United's attacks with an inch-perfect pass.

    here's an interesting fact

stoke havent lost away from home since they got beaten by man city on the 26/12/09

I genuinely think they could get something at chelsea with them missing terry who clears every ball the comes into the box

For the first time in quite a few weeks i'm gonna enkoy both Premier Soccer Saturday and MOTDwith a big smile on my face.

    WHAT A F*CKING DAY.

    Lovely sunny day.

Beating City with an injury time winner.

    Spurs beat Chelsea.

    Chelsea show signs of nerves.

    Terry gets the line.

    Drogba injured.

Lets see what they're made of now.

Hmm Dunphy's on Premier Soccer Saturday.

In fairness he gave United a lot of credit. Certainly changed his tune since the Bayern game, when I wanted to punch his face.
