NO it's too harsh a punishment.
Stupid device. And about going to a hospital, aren't there meant to be thousands of black market doctors in south africa? So how many rapists are going to walk into an actual hospital to be picked up and arrested?

If I was a woman in South Africa I'd like to have one of these. While my attacker was wincing with pain it'd give me some time to run slash his bloody neck.

AFAIK it's a sealed unit which is secured by the walls of the vagina. Plus I don't think anyone will be able to beat the crap out of their victim. Imagine it. You penetrate the girl and all of a sudden you wretch backwards because of immense pain. You pull the device with you and while you're busy contemplating WTF just happened your victim has ran off screaming for help.

Assumptions here that there will be one rapist. Group raping's are quite popular over there. Just ask nine out of ten people.

So you believe the punishment for rape should be murder?

Or indeed, that it is okay for a woman to kill a man if she is being raped.

Woman: You lie there, I'll just slink into something a little more comfortable

    A few mins pass

Man: I can hardly wait anymore, what's taking you so long

Woman: Sorry there's this bleedin' rat trap in my gee, it's a huuuuuer to get ouh!

Seriously though, what woman wants to wear that? And as has been said, having the rapist in extreme pain in that kind of close proximity to you is not where you want to be

No to the first one, abso-frickin-lutely to the second one.

Execution as a punishment after the fact is a little excessive, but if a woman has a chance to kill her attacker during a rape I say good on ya girl, you're very brave and I'm proud of you.

Toss the corpse in a ditch.

not an expert or anything but I don't think rapists engage in foreplay or much to actually notice something like that..

Not sure I agree with the corpse disposal method (lime + a bathtub ftw) but I see where you're coming from, if someone is trespassing in your house or vagina you should let them have it*!

*let them have it as in react with the full measure of your strength, not let them have your bits for enjoyment

punishment for rape should be execution
killing someonewho is trying to rape you is justifiable self defence in my opinion
if someome tried to rape me they'd be pretty dead, i can't see why i should be in trouble for that

Yes, I do think that if a woman kills a man raping her the judge should be lenient.
    What do you think?

No fcuking way, what if a women wants to that anyway?

She just has to say she did it cause he was raping her.

    Ban the fcuker.

Not a big foreplay man, are you Pete? :D

If the bloke wasn't up to no good, he'd find the thing first i reckon.
As far as i'm concerned anything that happens to a rapist is not bad enough. Worst scum on the planet in my opinion

If a rapist had his shaft carved with one of these yokes would he bleed to death.

As a punishment? Perhaps. But punishments should never be allowed to be carried out by the victims.

The onus is on the man to prove he wasn't raping her. If he's dead, then he's gotta be a rapist:rolleyes:

I think it's ludicrous to say that if a woman murders a man while raping her, that it is fine and justifiable.

He is NOT trying to kill a woman, he is shoving his penis in and out of her, why should he die? Why should he get his throat slashed?

If a woman rapes a man or another woman, should she have her throat slashed too?

If it was your mother, wife, daughter or whatever you might think differently. I would say he got what he deserved, no more, no less.

I heard about those devices, apperantly you have to go to a cop station to get it removed if it clings on, pull out and you lose a willie!

This is a troll, right? Are you actually white knighting for rapists?

Assuming you're not trolling: He should die because he is taking her body as his own possession, he is subjecting her to a torturous and humiliating process that has the potential to destroy her life and happiness forever more for a few moments of domineering pleasure for himself. Her killing him is absolutely justifiable if it is the only recourse to stop the attack.

There should be no judge, if the police are confident that she was defending herself from rape then she should be giving contact details for a counsellor and sent on her merry way. Absolutely justifiable.
If a woman rapes a man or another woman, should she have her throat slashed too?

If she's physically stronger than him and he gets one chance to take her out, yes absolutely. If a typical woman tries to violently rape a typical man then he should probably just hold her down until the police arrive, but I don't think that's a very common scenario do you?

Maybe I would, emotion does tend to make people lose all sense of logic.

That's why we have a Justice system based on laws and a juries of men and women unaffected by the case. Perhaps you think we should family members on a jury panel, I mean if you feel that their feelings hold such weight as to justify murder, why not.

You're familiar with the concept of self defense, right?

Good thinking. I think I'll have to send a few fingers on a scouting mission first before I attempt any future rapes.

Well, there's a difference between a rape victim siezing a single opportunity to take out her rapist during the act, and you as a third party intervening and using excessive force. If you can bonk him in the head or otherwise keep him captive until he is arrested that would be preferable.

That's not exactly an option for a rape victim.
