Young lad was stabbed and now Gay/Lesbians/Unions/Plough-and-Star types have been invited to bring their banners to the GoR for a march on the Dail. What's the purpose of this?

Probably to show that the country is fed up with prejudice, and wishes all racists/homophobes would just FOD.

    Oh right.

And how do they now hope the two lads who allegedly killed him will now have a fair trial, given that they are basically announcing, of their own accord, that his killing was racially motivated?

    :confused::confused:

Well it was the Gardai that first brought the racial motive to light, so maybe you should take it up with them......

My guess is it will be a big nothing, some Trotksyite will do all the talking, 200 of them will leave the GoR and there will be 8 of them left by the time they reach the Dail, having been sucked into the houses of sin along the way.

These yobs are basically hijacking this chaps plight to to try and make some sort of a Lawrence case out of this.

They thrive off this kind of thing, it helps keep them relevant. If they really wanted to help they would say nothing and do less that would prejudice the trial. If the killers have a chance of getting off, its by saying their trial was prejudiced.

Gardai use powers all the time to make arrests and detentions. Sure you could be held under the Offences Against The State Act and never charged.

The Stephen Lawrence case involved institutional racism on behalf of the Metropolitan police.....theres no comparison.

People dont know the full story about this. There are two sides to every story. Having a rally is a bit much tbh.

What? Like x-ray vision and the ability to fly?

My guess is any form of group within Irish culture who could possibly be discriminated against were invited to this rally to show the Dail their opinion, damn right as well.

Sure that could be anyone and everyone.

Just admit it...when a black person dies, it's racial.

Their must have been racial tension in the area otherwise they would not have had a local Racial Equality officer or whatever they call it in the area.

    That's a stupid uninformed post.

for 72 hrs tops, and they need the say so of a Chief Superintendent and the District Court for the 2nd and 3rd 24 hour periods.

It is when the accussed has a conviction for a previous racial attack.
Tyrrelstown...that bastion of racial hatred and infernal race wars..

Neither of the accussed are from the area.

Yeah, most of it a work of the pen of Brid Ni Chonaill, it seems. I wonder if she is related to Aine Ni Chonaill.

The attempt to create some sort of Missisipi Burning complex is awkward and brutish.

22%.....a fraction of whom are nigerian....and why are they referring to the young man as Nigerian...he was 11 years in Ireland......

    Bingo.

But the Press and the Trots want you to believe it was an internecine affair out in the concrete jungle that is Blanch.....:rolleyes::rolleyes:

I don't think the Rally is about Blanchardstown...

Rallys don't count as evidence. Trials are carried out on the merit of the evidence produced.

You don't magically turn Irish after 11 years of being in the country. I should know.

And the prospective jury wont have been influenced by a Rally which tried to paint a picture of unbridled racial tension in Tyrrelstown??:confused:

News to me. The only person who seems to be pedalling an agenda here is you.

You didn't remark on the accussed previous. Why?

Most people are murdered by someone in their own racial group; thats a grossly ignorant thing to say. I wasn't planning to go to this march but with viewpoints like yours around I think I will now.

I assume the far right national skin head party of Ireland got an invite so did they? Or an organisation representing the Catholic faithful of Ireland?
