I always wonder what other way could they go?

Sideways. Backwards, Down the toilet, out of their own arse etc

There's a lot of joined up thinking in this thread. We need to display our core competencies going forward.

We need to be more proactive when thinking outside the box and manage expectations going forward..

If you were a team player you would push the envelope for low hanging fruit here.

We also need to take ownership of the big picture

The next person to use the phrase going forward is getting a silver bullet.

Touch base with the leveraged silver bullet going forward

I was trying to bottom line this thread but you went there, we need to get some one on one quality communication team to make sure we're not horizontally duplicating our output.

But that would mean gaining traction through turnkey solutions.

IN the present climate I think that a think tank needs to be put in place to adopt a more dynamic and pragmatic approach going forward in order to deal with the real issues here and establish a knowledge based economy going forwards.

    Cowen uses it CONSTANTLY.

Its like the last 10 years of his fook ups don't matter.

In any of the meetings i've attended lately its all been "moving forward"

its just another buzz word in the language of nobody as explained nicely in this book

    its worth a read

..because we need to grow the economy... With what???!!! Fcuking fertilizer???

Whatever happened to using the words develop/expand/increase/improve?

Farmers grow crops, we do not grow economies

Nobody uses 'thinking outside the box' anymore, that's so 90's! Diversification is the key word in these challenging times;)

Singing from the same hymn sheet is another.

I think I heard it twice in my working life. I wanted to punch the f*ckers who said it. (always managers)

Going forward what we need to do is speculate to accumulate. We will need to spend money to make money here, have a think about it and touch base with me at a later date.

I'll get my people to talk to your people, and we can do lunch on a level playing field, OK ?

Its such a pointless and embarrassing phrase. Always begs the question - well when were we going backwards ? Might as well end your sentences singing "la la smiley face".

Put it to bed or kick it to touch, but do something with it.

    'put this over the line'.
    gr.

This is getting rediculous. Going forward this kind of think tank brainstorming would synergise better in TCN.

if you have to think outside the box the box isn't big enough.

I think it's definitely one of the low hanging apples.
