Anyone find it literally impossible to get a nuke?

Done it a good few times over the last week. Just on the ocassion where they decide not to shoot down my chopper gunner is where i get the 25 kills

If anyone still finds it really hard to get a nuke here I have 2 nukes I got one after the other in FFA to post up. I could do commentary and five some tips if anyone wants me to.

I basically use claymores and scavenger to my advantage and camp a bit, but if you find it hard to get a nuke then whatever..

Let me guess .......set claymore camp/hide , when claymore goes off , set claymore camp/hide , when claymore goes off hide , set claymore camp/hide ......I could probably even tell you what maps you do it on .

Sub-base = top of the stairs
Estate = top of the stairs
Derail = the main building , set claymores at both entrances

someone was watching too many "seananners" videos

. i always use sitrep in FFA to find a) boosters and b) campers. with marathon you can sprint straight through claymores anyway.

True you can run straight through them , but its not alot of good sprinting straight through a claymore only to be greated by some absolute cnut lying down with a shotgun behind said claymore . He kills you gets up and sets another claymore and just does it over and over . Thats when I break out the noobtube

For the game I was talking about I did stay in the estate house picking people off with my TAR and using claymores.

But generally I rush around alot with SMGs (most underpowered weapons ever) and never really camp with claymore.

It was just that one game, because I felt like getting a nuke on my Playstation.

Like I said, it wouldn't be to show skill, it'd be to help out people who struggle to get nukes.

Have you gotten a nuke without killstreaks? Didn't think so.

Anyone who gets a nuke running around constantly without killstreaks is playing idiots/is host/is god like.

no i just did the 10 nuke challenge and stopped using them after that

What are you talking about??

How could someone rack up 25 kills in a row without killstreaks and not using some cover. If it was such an easy thing to do there would be lots of you tube videos with it. I don't think Seananners camps as much as a lot of you tube directors, he just keeps his back to the edge of the map, uses cover and locks down an area. I've never seen him lying in a dark corner with a shotgun waiting for someone to run past.

I get a minimum of abour 4 Claymore kills a match. If you're using Scavenger pro it's well handy.

Camp somewhere for one kill and make it real obvious that you are (look down a room or something). Then plant a claymore at the other enterance to the room - and then go about your business nearby. Chances are he'll come back via the other enterance and be blown to bits. Then get the bag off his body and plant it at the other door. Mix it up - then get the hell outta there. He'll eventually get wise.

It's not really camping, just 'boxing clever' - you move about the area, only returning to resupply. it lets you get easy kills while you sneak about. It's really handy if you're a decent sniper too.

It's the way I got my one and only Nuke!

without using cover no but hanging around the same building where people constantly spawn is cheap. look at how many times he shoots someone with painkiller. he does move around a bit to reset claymores but in general he stays at the back, away from the windows so he cant be seen.

Why would he want to be seen? going near the windows is asking to get sniped. whats stopping someone he killed going in and getting him. its a pretty big area to hold down on your own.

claymores and the fact he can hear everyone stops them from coming back. its actually not hard to hold down those areas. even without claymores if you stick to either building on highrise you'll have people spawning in the same 2 places constantly.

anyway this is about nukes and that video was just to show "creasybear" that seananners does play that way.

What im amazed at is that guy didnt get flashed or stunned once , if i was in that game seananners wouldnt have made it to 5 kills without getting stunned/flashed and killed by me.

He got flashed once at about 1:30, but that's it really.

I watched the vid there , he didnt hide or camp he was consently moving and in all fairness he was getting a nuke without killstreaks he hardly going to be running around outside . He was making sure he wouldnt get shot in the back :rolleyes:

Wouldnt consider that vid camping..He has that building locked down.There is still what 4 ways of entering that building and the other team got pawned...

It wasn't camping at all. He used Claymores to defend access points, moved around the building, and played very smart. He did get a bit lucky with getting the one low level guy who just kept going back, but it's gonna take luck to get to 25 kills without a killstreak reward.

Today i got my highest killstreak which was 30 in a FFA (no deaths) in wasteland...just went around the edge of the map and thought it was pretty easy....but my friend who was playing a match for me just before i got this score, changed my killstreaks so i didnt have th nuke on...i have also gotten a 26 and a 27 streak but no nuke..its easier to get longer streaks with harrier, pavelow, ac130/chopper gunner! So i have the nuke on all the time now still looking for my first!

when you get your harriers find a safe spot to hide. if your harriers get you a chopper gunner dont call it in until the harrier is gone because someone is more likely to change to a cold blooded/stinger class once theres loads of air support up.

harrier, chopper gunner, nuke is the best set up by far.

I used to find it impossible to get a nuke aswell.
But if you do go in with the mindframe of knowing you can do it it does help.
Got my first nuke today, was chuffed!!!!

got my first one tonight on Highrise, 29 kill streak,used the harrier/gunner combo but only got 8 kills between them,the rest was all me, now i get what all the fuss is about thats heart pounding stuff when you get to 20+ kills, was grinning like a loon when i got it, even got 2 more kills during the countdown lol
