    Hey guys

Anyone have any links to articles that talk about merits of taking the above? I need to get my hands on an article or two in relation to the above an i know there have been some decent links posted here before but cant seem to find them.

    Cheers.

Sorry nothing offhand on calcium or glucosamine, take it for granted if you need vitamin D you need calcium though as they work synergystically.

Glucosamine is a very powerful anti-inflammatory, trials have shown that it is almost as effective as ibuprofen in this respect without the nasty chemicals that your liver has to deal with.

Don't bother buying supplements, they are expensive and you can make your own quite easily from bone broth. Just ask your butcher for some raw beef bones (they're usually free). Roast them for 30mins at 220C and then boil with some carrots, celery and dried herbs on a very low temp for 24hrs topping up with water as necessary. Then strain through a sieve. Boil down to a syrupy consistency, freeze in an ice cube tray. Voila, homemade stock cubes! (and much healthier than the msg and hydrolysed veg protein laced ones)

Along with glucosamine you get very absorbable calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, silicon, sulphur and trace minerals. All which work together synergistically to maintain healthy bones and joints. Isn't nature wonderful?:)

    Cheers guys.

Im not a vitamen type guy in terms of multi vitamens. Maybe everynow and again as a back up. I would always take fish oil and glucosamine though. Especially glucosamine since i train a lot.

    Interesting stuff there temple.

    Cheers again.
