Dutch government officials reacted angrily today to claims by a retired US general that Dutch forces were overrun in Srebrenica in 1995 in part because of the presence of gay soldiers.

Not really.
The guy is trying to blame the massacre of 7,000 people on the dutch having gay people in their army.

I think **** YOU is an appropriate response and i'm not really going to be concerned if you dislike my choice in words.

He forgot to mention that the lightly armed Dutch appealed for urgent air support and informed NATO that they wouldn't be able to defend the city alone.36 hours later the Dutch had to use their own airforce because nobody listened to what they were saying. Must be all the gays in NATO High Command :rolleyes: Illegitimate son of a sporting lady and a scurrilous cur.

no way. if anything the opposite. imagine if you were a soldier on the front line and your platoon got wind that an army of poofs was approaching. i think you'd retreat pretty fast.

If that's the quote then it's very different from the what the oirish toimes headline implied. No idea why people are worked up about it.
