no joke, in bed one night i was held down for about ten minutes while awake, bed jumping up and down, it let go, i ran for the light and watched the bed jumping non stop for another 5 mins,

was i scared, yes but not as much as i thought i would,

my gf who wasnt with me and who i then told said she had things moved around on her when she was home alone and thought it was just her,

    It's a normal sleep thing.

•a state of being carried away by overwhelming emotion; "listening to sweet music in a perfect rapture"- Charles Dickens
    •a state of elated bliss
•street name for methylenedioxymethamphetamine (a side effect of use is often instances of sleep paralysis)

True. I get them every couple of months - fcuking terrifying but not sinister in any way. Best to stay calm during :)

Well if the guy next door had a similar story then that would mean it is normal surely?

Maybe she was scratching herself in her sleep?

See this is why I don't believe in ghosts, I have never heard any instance that didn't have a much more likely non-supernatural explanation, and the people who reported the experience always seem to have an unshakable determination to discount any explanation that doesn't agree with their first assesment of spooks being spooky.

its 10 houses togeter and they could never sell even in the good times, i looked up the census 2 yrs ago and found 3 family members died all in the one day from that house, dosnt say from what though,

12 from the same street in one week

It's quite strange: once they've made the leap to "It was a ghost", they react to reasonable explanations as if they're impossible. And invariably more evidence appears to support the ghost theory the more you argue - in this case the neighbour next door, then the history of ghosts in the house etc...

Ghosts being far more reasonable than a well known phenomenon like sleep paralysis.

I can't tell if you're being serious or not.

If you're being serious - are you aware of the forum you're posting this in?

    Ghosts for sure.

In unrelated matters, it was the same week the whole street burned down in a fire. Some sense of timing, those ghosts.

Don't get me wrong, it could well happen, wouldn't mean ghosts. I am just waiting for JF to give us the address of this street where 12 people died on the street in one week including 3 in one home with no explanation. Should be an easy google job to comfirm, that kind of thing tends to make the news.......unless you think, wait, he couldn't be....making stuff up, could he?

do a search in this forum, for "believe in god" or anything similar. Amazingly that question has come up once or twice before. Now that is spooky.
