They probably won't tell you unless it's in person. The idea is that a high price posted on line means very little and just scares people away. They're so used to seeing say $60 per month that $200 seems incredibly excessive - but then ya have to take into account all the coaching etc you're getting.

AFAIK most US Crossfit gyms are charging in or around $150 per month?

Yeah that's what I figured but I thought they'd give me more than a rough figure over the phone when I called yesterday. I asked them to email me the prices and the guy said he would but I never got them (could be work filters being overly protective though). I scheduled an intro session anyway with them so will see how it goes.

Not exactly the best snatch balance technique but this just isn't cricket. I'm sure there's heavier but wow. I remember being highly impressed by Pat Barber's 117kg SB on facebook a few weeks ago but this is just unreal.

If he'd just get on the floor it probably wouldn't be as dangerous would it? But of course its bench or death for some.

I must actually start again - injured myself last week so not really training this, may tempt fate and go for a run!

Damn, that was harder than expected! Haven't been running in aaaaages!

Barber or Coach Wu? Barber's quite nice even though he's got a ridiculously offensive Vertical Jump score (48" at his best apparently). As for coach Wu, I'm undecided, leaning towards hate though.

    Speaking of vertical jumps...

...it's not quite 48" but Shane Hamman had a best VJ of 36" at a bodyweight of 350lb (160kg) - US weightlifter, career total best of 430kg, still holds all the US records for his class.

    Nice...

    Nah, Wu.
I can't hate on Barber, he seems too much like an enthusiastic little puppy. Although that vertical is worthy of hatin'.

I reckon if he could get his legs up (and he probably can) he could jump on something as tall as himself. Hopefully I'll get some training in Coach B's place this summer, if I see Barber I'll give him some grief.

He did an interview of sorts with Rip.
I say of sorts, cos Rip did most of the talking.

Still it was interesting listening. He talked about realising he just wasn't strong enough when he was watching Rezazadeh warm up.

    Can't imagine how that'd go...
"Yeah, yeah, c'mon c'mon ...bustle in hedgerow...guns..."(enter expensive car+closeup of singer tilting head seductively)..."and as we wind on down the roooooooowoooooooad" (sang in high pitched diva style)...

I don't think this should happen.
