It was stupid the man takeing the guards photo. A simple look at his name badge or a request to speak to his superior would be simpler.
Surely, taking the guards photo should then make the guard think he was into raping security guards?

Haven't you heard? All males are a paedophile until proven heterosexual.

Men can't sit beside a child on some airplanes. They are guilty just because they are men.

Such an outdated focus on stranger-danger when the overwhelming majority of abuse is done be someone well known to the child.

Why do people seem to ignore the fact that there are women peodophiles too. The thing with the plane seats is beyond a joke why dont they just get separate planes for the men since they all seem to be sex offenders and murders.

They already have that on some trains in Japan so it may not be as far fetched as you think.

My partner works in social work but I wont say which area or for who although she does deal with children from disadvantaged backrounds and some have been abused. In her job she has been told its policey not to be left alone in a room with any child just in case the make any allegation about abuse which would lead to investigation or prosicution. I do feel very uncomfortable when put in some situations with children when i hear all the stories about unfounded aligation's and my gf tells me i am right not to put myself out like that.
I felt like a proper tool a short while ago when her sisters daughter and son stayed with us and we had to get them ready for bed. My partner was making them some snacks before bed and asked me to help them change....nope no way.I stood outside and if they need me they could call me.I have baby sat these kids plenty of times since they were born but i still dont feel comfortable doing this due to the "All men are bastards and Peados" Brigade. Its stupid but most men know that one aligation and the rest of your life is over

During the heavy snow recently I was making the trek up to the shops and I walked past this kid trying to throw snowballs. He was scooping up snow and throwing it loose so it just disintegrated. I stopped to show him how to roll a snowball properly, the kind of thing adults did when I was younger, but my survival instinct kicked in when I realised how bad it looked. I'm afraid to be around children.

When I was younger I used to learn all sorts of things from adults.
I used to talk to adults around the place I grew up, ask them questions while they were out in their gardens and the likes. Through different adults being willing to share their time I got to visit a pigeon loft, got to find out a lot about animals, took a ride in a helicopter, learnt about milking cows and pasteurization, welding, how engines worked etc. etc.

Children are losing out now that they can't leave the house unsupervised and nobody wants to talk to them out of fears that it'll look bad. There's no community anymore. A lot of adults where I grew up got talking to each other through the local kids, it brought everyone in the area together.

Just seen an interview with this Guy from the UK who was approached by security while out shopping and told to stop taking photos of his son on a children's toy train ride.

Security guy told him it was because he could be a paedophile

So he takes a quick snap of the security guy so he can lodge a complaint at a later stage and goes about his business in other shops.

Then the cops come into that shop and tell him he must delete the photos, but he refused.

So, what do you think about this kind of security?

Is it acceptable? Was the security guy right as this could one day save some child from being abducted, or has the world gone loco?

    Source

No it is not acceptable. There's two people at fault here. The security guard and the policeman. I hope both of them are publicly named so that others can ridicule them for their paranoia and stupidity.

Men can't sit beside a child on some airplanes. They are guilty just because they are men.

I had to state my gender on online check in for a flight on BMI - is that why?

    The world is gone mad.

That article is inaccurate and has since been clarified. The photographs in question are not those of his niece. Soldier was in the unit we replaced, as it happens. Mom is making the presumption that the only photographs he had were the ones of his niece that she sent him.

    NTM

Thanks Manic - wasn't aware of that. I'd seen it on loads of what I would consider "reputable" sources. I don't like to see someone else quoting a dodgy source to make a point, so I really hate it when it happens to me. Thanks again.
