    No no, we learned today that geology does not actually rock. I was sorely disappointed. ;_;

    So right, if the "Dial-o-Gram" balance measures to the nearest 0.00001kg and my smallest measurment is 0.00356kg would I be right in saying the percentage error is 0.028%?

    Oh, it was brilliant! The popcorn was delicious, much <3. It just doesn't "rock" per se, but there was much hilarity. :)

    Try emailing Jane Farrar? I was going to do the same but another project I'm working on has me busy.
    Was supposed to start work on microbio this week but those ambitions fell apart.

    Hey, does anyone know if we have to be able to derive all the formulas for Mike Lyons part of the JF Chemistry course or do we just have to be able to use them. Thanks for any help. This is driving me nuts.

    He mentioned putting them up for the benefit of those studying or interested in physics but I'd say they'd be unlikely to appear a regular exam, maybe a schols paper. It couldn't hurt knowing them.

    I see this thread is starting to get dusty! Hows the Bio essay going for you guys? I'm in the Hamilton at the moment researching the "missing evolutionary link" essay..... The web of science is quite useful it turns out

    It just gives the references. You can take these and cross reference them with the library database and find the journals handy enough.

    Ahh balls. Just looked at when last years exams were, probably near same spacing this year.

    Foundation Physics- Friday Morning
    Biology 101 - Fridday Afternoon
    Biology 102 - Saturday Morning
    Chemistry 101 -Monday Morning
    Chemistry 102 - Tuesday Morning
    Maths Methods - Wednesday (one week later) morning

    Question to the oldies, how different appart from it being earlier this year do you expect it to be? When are the timetables out?
