    Business and Religion tomorrow.
Why is religion even a subject? No one cares anymore.

yeah I'm glad my school doesnt do religion as an exam subject anymore.

even though I'm an atheist I still like it as a subject to learn about different religions, but under no circumstances would I want to take an exam on it.

Worried about Religion because theres so much to learn and the essays are just horrible :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,419 ✭✭✭WanderingSoul

I don't have it as an exam subject either, thankfully!

We actually don't do much (this year) on different religions. We've pretty much only done morality.

BTW, though I'm "officially" Catholic, Im really agnostic to be honest.

Did anybody actually study for the mocks or are they using it as a guideline like me for things like, ( time management, what i dont know, and the experience of a state examination ) ???

My mocks started thursday. By wednesday morning I had done 3-4 hours study so for me its been night before job for them but I know people in my class have been proper studying for ages. At the start of 3rd year, in sphe we were doing study timing and we all had to work out and say how much study we did a week and since I only did 30 mins a week and we were advised to do 12 hours a week I said 11 to please teacher but one girl in my class honestly did 17 a week and that was september. And I still get better than her in every test. She usually get Cs or Bs!

Some people could do 3 hours which could really be done in 1 hour. Different people different abilities.

I managed to learn like 8 maths theorems in an hour today and I am ery very proud of myself!:DI really should have been studying Irish though instead of maths seeing as it is tomorrow.I just wasn't in the mood for study though when I came home from the match

I think we've done all 10 of them now () Do you not kinda need them to be able to do like nearly 2 whole questions on Paper 2 for Maths?

Had my Irish Listening Test today, went well and was simple!

Spanish listening tomorrow.. not so easy!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,049 ✭✭✭CookieMonster.x

Yeh, I think to do 1 or 2 of the questions you have to know the theorem to work out the angles etc.

I've got Maths 2 tomorrow, gotta learn all the theorems :(
How was everyones exams today? I had business 1 and 2, weren't all that bad. My accounts worked out :DDon't think I'm giving away anything here, accounts always come up.

  • Moderators, Education Moderators Posts: 7,853 Mod ✭✭✭✭suitcasepink

Maths paper 2 went okay for me.. I guessed the theorem that would come up and I was right :D
And then one of the small ones. I hae to say i hated theorems I never properly learned them before now but the first 6 anyway(and the next two) they're not that bad once you learn the diagram you can do the proof :)
Geography was grand too, I like geo though coz for alot the the social and economics geography you kinda kinda make us as you go along! :pac:
    Business paper 1 and 2 tomorrow :(
