but Laser is not like a CC, the protections in place are not the same....for example, i tried to cancel a Laser payement to Pixmania a day after ordering, my bank to me i couldn't becuase Laser is different to CC.

I'm not 100% sure, no....but i wouldn't risk a Laser as it's essentially a debit card which does not have the same consumer protections and refunds like a CC has.

Even if they charge you the full amount, you're still entitled to cancel. And even after it arrives at your door, you have 7 days to return it for a full refund. Distance selling regulations.

Everyone settle a small bit.

Theres a difference between refusing to cancel something you agreed to buy and them actually charging you more than you agreed to pay

Yeah but dont you have to pay for the return postage? Will they pay for that?

No, you pay return (to France) + Pix are infamous for refunds (in a bad way)

If it arrives at your door (return to sender) they make it hard as possible to get the money back.

Way too many of these ordered now for it to go through, they won't even have the stock, canceling my order. Why are people ordering a bunch of them by the way, any chance you had of them not spotting the problem will be gone when they see you've ordered 10

Yup, definitely no chance now. There must be 50 orders just from this thread and most of them are from multiple orders. And that's just the people who said they've ordered.

To be fair... it wouldn't make a difference if people ordered 1 or ordered 10, they're still making enough of a loss on 1 to justify not honouring it.

I don't use this term lightly.. but Pixmania are the tightest meanest bunch of pricks I've ever had the misfortune to deal with. It took 8 months of solid e-mailing and phone calls, 2 returned hard drives and WAYYY too much grief to get a full refund of a faulty product they sold me.

So let's not be too hasty in calling the people who order 10 "idiotic" or "greedy".. yes, they're taking the piss with regards to the misprice but odds are your orders wouldn't been honoured regardless of these "idiots".

I take your point about pixmania, and agree that they will not honour these orders but do you not think something should be done about these muppets with multiple orders. These dicks should be banned. I think we have all seen a time when these idiots have had their orders delivered at the expense of others.
