    RIP - He was big time stitched up on the Late Late once years ago (late nineties maybe). I remember Fr Trendy Brain Darcy taking him on from the audience and my young head thinking ' Fr Trendy - you are a snake'. Even though I agreed with Darcys point of view Daly was dignified in his response.

    Maybe I missed the moment where he apologised for everything his stupid ****ing club have been responsible for. Otherwise, I find my sympathy severely lacking. Luckily for him ,there's no eternal reward or punishment waiting for any of us so it's all moot.

    What a pile of s****. Those abused had nothing to do with an "imaginary god". Why take away responsibilty from the evil individuals involved in it?! It's the same as Islamic terrorists - it's not Islam that is evil, rather the individual who interpret it for their own aims.
