I have Torres and don't have a notion what to do with him.. Don't expect him to play a full match really but still want to put him captain.

Didn't Rafa say he was just fit enough for one match a week or somethin? He could easily be rested for the Villa match..

There isn't a hope of Torres being rested for the Villa game. They need 4th place and they have to beat the teams that are taking "their" spot. If he needs a rest, I'm sure it'll be vs Hull. Maybe come off bench for 20 minutes if things not going well.

Think we've our wires crossed.. I think he could be rested for a while against wolves this weekend so he can play a full game against Villa.

When I said "rested for Villa", I meant the match before so he'd be fit for Villa.

Sounds risky to me. I reckon this game has a good chance of being a draw and the bookies seem to be finding it very tough to call.

Normally I would say Wenger would not risk him but since it's Villa I reckon there's a chance he will feature. I have him in my line-up so hopefully he starts.

well for a start get rid of given and get in someone alot cheaper, hart or jensen. play sorensen almost every game. us the money saved to swap arshavin for fabulous. oh and maybe you should look into gettin in one or two more players from arsenal, stoke, fulham or bolton as they have a double gameweek coming up

ive gone for rodallega as my captain this week for two reasons. 1) he and his team mates have had a long rest since their last game so they will be fresher than blackburn for this one. 2) most of my other normal captain selections are involved in the aresnal-villa game and as im not sure that fab will start ive gone for rodallega. otherwise i would just pic fab

Taking a 4 point hit to bring in Evra for Emerton, hopefully it pays off. Otherwise i'd have been forced to put in Distin who's injured. Got a tough tie this week in the Fantasy Cup too.

Me too, even if he comes on after 60 there's a good chance he'll get an assist or score. I have Gabby as first sub though, so I'm fairly secured.

I'm not making a transfer for this gameweek, I'm happy with the team. Leaves me with two freebies for the big gameweek next week.

For me it was more of a case of horrible fixtures. Hence Jarvis playing- Liverpool are most likely to foul up imo ^_^ I'm hoping Spurs destroy Fulham so Figueroa's on the bench, can anyone see Jerome or Zayatte doing well though?

Zayatte seems to pop up with a goal or assist or a clean sheet every few weeks so I fancy him for the money. What ye think about putting eduardo in for the double gw instead of drogba since he is leaving after the birmingham match. ed and vela are the only out&out strikers but arsene still only brings him on as a sub. would he start one surely?

BAM, 20% of accounts are probably dormant anyway. Every now and again you could get burned by one of them.

Ya, I was just going to say zamora for drogba next week. He is on a hot streak and chelsea will be as weak at they get (still strong) after the spine of the team is gone on safari. And stokes for is just slightly better than normal stoke.

I got a guy who joined in gameweek 12 and has never made a transfer. I assume hes inactive since RVP is in the team :rolleyes:

reckon its a higher percentage than that

+ I reckon I'll be knocked out this week. My opponent has an up-to-date squad and when looking at his history he scores high 60's consistently and is top of all his leagues...?
