The C&H Photography Thread

So, having taken on board some of the feedback in the Happy Birthday thread, I've been thinking about how to come up with some new thread ideas. My first good idea: a photography thread.

Some simple ground rules:

maximum of three pictures per post
do not quote images in replies
off-topic chat will be deleted/moved
only post images that you have taken yourself
the usual site-wide rules about acceptable picture content still apply

Seeing as it's Christmas time, I'm expecting some good shots over the next few weeks

Love this picture. Out of no-where a few horses started chasing me and they were fast, here's one of them. I didn't wait around to get a picture the rest!

I've tried to put more pics up but it really isn't working. I'll get more up when I can. Great images here though

Do ye just use digital cameras? Or do you have big fancy things?

Kate's pictures in particular look too good to be from your average digital camera...

Mine's a Digital SLR camera (one of the big fancy things). It's an entry level one though, so obviously you can get much better than what I have, trying to save up for a new lens at the moment.
It's one expensive hobby to have.

Here's a few of mine... The only ones I've already uploaded to pix.ie but I have some better ones on my external harddrive somewhere!!!

Before commenting, consider everything except the mirror pic is taken on a 3 year old 5 megapixel LIDL camera!:o

EDIT: 4th Pic looked way clearer before I uploaded it.

Sorry, my bad... Used to photography forum rules... won't happen again. Should I edit out the extra pics or what?

I'm fairly new to this idea as well

I'd recommend people pick the one photograph they're happiest with each time they post.

I'm sorry it's so big...I don't know how to make it smaller!

This is a painting I just finished, it only took me four days so I know it's not amazing, I'm happy enough with it though:)
