Ha. Maybe in 10 years time you'll be shopping in Dunnes in mid December and you'll hear Killing in the Name in between Jingle Bells and Santa Claus is coming to town. That'd be awesome.

    Multiple Downloads are not allowed.

Store purchases are different though - didn't Jimmy Eat World go out and buy a few hundred thousand copies of their own CD's so they'd get placed high in the charts, and the avalanche of sales from there secured their popularity (and bank accounts) in the states?

He doesn't even realise the song is almost as old as he is. He actually thinks Rage Against The Machine released a brand new song to try to stop the X-Factor winner from getting the Christmas #1

    Seriously deluded.

Who are these inconsiderate folk buying music that they like. Don't they ask themselves before every purchase "What would Simon Cowell do?"

Not out till just before 7. They have it, several music insiders have posted it on twitter and betting has closed on it.

Is there a link available to the official site from those that correlate and announce the figures?

You do all real;ise taht RATM are signed to sony (through epic) and that Simon Cowell owns a large part of sony's music department so matter who you buy out of the two he is making money?

Also, it is only RATM's royalties not ALL the profits, going to charity.

Nope, embargo until 7 so you won't see any where officially announce it till then.

Yes we know, its posted several times a day in each thread. And BTW Simon Cowell doesn't own a large part of Sony's Music, he owns a label that is owned by Sony music. Profits from the RATM single sales will go to Sony music, not to him.

I seriously doubt that its the money aspect of this that Simon Cowell cares about. Hes the highest earner in the british entertainment industry. This isnt to make him poor - its to show that he doesnt have a grapple hold on what the public choose to listen to!
