Pretty much considering Easons were pushing that Katy French book.

I don't have anything of any use to add to the thread.

I went on the London Eye with Michelle Heaton and Jessica someone from Liberty X a few years ago. I got a hug and a kiss.

Sorry, I just love telling people that

    Lemme find a pic

I don't know... I think there probably are people who haven't a clue who she is. She was in Liberty X - last successful single, about 2002. Other than that, she's a minor player in the celeb gossip world, which not everyone is acquainted with.

Thank you, I hadn't a clue who she was either.

I don't mean to be a party pooper; but seriously, she's a lovely, lovely, genuine woman. She might be a bit orange but she's not a cunt

The sound she makes as she is falling, the gasp of the crowd and the final loud thump to the ground.

People falling over is comedy gold.

How come no one laughed out loud in the audience?!! I guess the types that go to these kind of things only go to be seen (dahling) but still, how could you possibly not break your hole laughing if that happened in front of you?

Think I'll go look at it yet again, haven't watched it in at least 2 hours... :pac:

    People trip.

    "Celebrities" trip on tv.

It doesn't make them bad people.

"Airhead makes living out of appearing in front of airheads" shock.

We want celebrities, they give us the circus.

Even the tossers who are too cool to let on they know, know who the celebrities are.

I don't watch football, I know who the fnck Thierry Henry is. Most people don't know who Roger Federer is, but they know the curse of Gillette.

Stick your TV snobbery up your hole please.

Ah the obligitary "Who the fuck is that" post.

We get it you too cool for pop culture..

But seriously, some of us don't know who she is.
I've ignored the thread until now. Only just clicked it. Haven't a clue :/

She was in Liberty X - a band.

sorry but her fall was hilarious. I don't care who they are, they fall, I usually laugh.

I would rather laugh at people watching the Irish Apprentice tbh. "hah, look at that has-been trip!" - ya why is that has-been on the show in the first place? Because you're watching garbage

I could be wrong but I'm confident some people genuinely don't have a clue about celebrity stuff - not just saying it to be "cool"... because they're not 17.

And also there are people who haven't a clue about celeb culture, simply because they're too old.

Not looking at Mairt, I swear... :pac:

As Dudess said, it's got nothing to do with "being cool". It's called "not having any interest in bull$hit". I'd imagine if you asked the entire country, 90% of people would have never heard of her before.

A lot of people get through life without watching soaps, reality tv and reading gossip rags. For those people, the only "celebrities" they will recognise are the real ones - the ones who have achieved the peak of their chosen profession (actor/musician/artist/athlete etc), just as you recognise Thierry Henry.

    Prior to this thread:
    • I had no idea of who she was
    • I had no idea of how I would be supposed to know her.
    • I had heard of a band called liberty x, but would have had no idea of any of their songs, nor that they were a girl-band, or even if they were a band currently in the "charts" or if they were from the nineties.
