Nah, dad is actually driving down Friday to pick me and bro up and I don't fancy trying to bring presents plus three weeks of clothes at a cost of nearly 30 euro on the bus on saturday (with a hangover) just for a meet :P I'm sure you're all worth it, but I can't handle it :P Bought awesome tartan tights today with which I could have put together a really nice Christmassy outfit and all. Oh well! Shall wear it to Jack L instead.

    Also, HALLO!

How are we all this fine evening?

I had a nice enough day, got some nice bits in town and saw one of my mates for a bit - was a bit tense though as I'm not generally happy about the fact that I get about one hour of her time every second time she's in Cork overnight, due to her spending the other 47 hours with her boyfriend. Out of context I'm sure that sounds selfish, but if you knew the boy...man. If there was a God, he'd do us all a favour and break them up.

Sin é an scéal beag atá agam, 'bhfuil aon rud le rá domsa agaibh? :D

aww it sucks! hopefully you will make it to another meetup!
I'm doing good thanks, just home and having dinner, yum yum :) any plans for this evening?

Wanted to watch Primer but have misplaced my copy. Nothing like frying your brain with paradoxical time travel movies of a Tuesday night.

    Since I can't find it, I'm bored.

black pudding on a potato pancake to start, beef medallions for the main course, apple tart tatin for desert :)
I don't think there even was turkey on the menu!

Thank God Im qualified in June and can hopefully get out of the boredom of retail! (no offence to anyone who has a career in retail, its just not for me!)

Yeah, major mindf**k of a movie. I've only seen it once and it lost me about halfway through, so I want to watch it slowly to work it out. It's an extremely low budget film made by a dude and mostly his family/friends with complex technical dialogue about the time travel machine he and his friend build in their garage. It's a sort of cult movie, and it's generally said anyone who fully understands it the first time through is either a genius or a liar.

I haven't been to a house party in soooooooo long. I love them. Way better than pubs or clubs (eugh).

And yeah Primer is great. Definitely check it out.

I was wearing a beret all day and though it's gone now, my head feels like it still has a hat on it. Weird.

I've managed to escape flu so far this Winter, but it's not actually Christmas yet so I'd wager the monster of all swine-flu-meets-bird-flu is biding it's time, waiting to descend upon me. ¬_¬

swine flu and bird flu would be so much better to deal with if people who get it were walking around say with a chicken win instead of their arm or a snout instead of a nose, would be funny like!
