Text Speak is not allowed in After Hours.

Read the Charter before posting again.

I think the joke was of someone texting the number to ask whether anyone who worked for the service was able to spare a euro for his baby/hostel/heroin habit.

    An African or European swallow?

I think he is refering to the Pacific swallow.

I remember reading a book that was written by Prof Connoxmire, where he mentions unaden Swallows and I am pretty sure it was the Pacific swallows he was refering to.

Easy mistake to make though as they are all born with identical wing spans.
