Really ? She still believes at 14 ?

Its only one of the millions of reasons I said she's the "sweetest 14 yr old", now I'm not going to develope upon this for you or anyone else's entertainment.

In regards the show, another great show by Ryan T.

I didn't really care when I found out about Santa, so long as I still got presents.

Gaybo is just in a grumpy mood because Tubridy did a better toyshow than he ever did.

When he was playing the hapless father in Into The West he told the two sons that Santa doesn't visit caravans.

I heard Santa isnt real on some radio show in the morning on the way in to school once (About 10/11 years ago), now I had known for years before that, watching my dad frantically say it's just a joke to try and undo any damage done was hilarious :)

    No uproar then.......

The reason the audience booed so much when he said that was I bet because they were after telling the babysitters that their kids could stay up and watch the Late late to see if they could spot them in the audience.

However, I too think kids shouldn't be watching The Late Late ..

Anyone remember what Gay used to say when their were complaints the following week of a Late Late about how some kid saw or heard this or that??

He used to say in response .. "That's why at the start of the show folks, it says to whom it may concern ".

ray darcy used to try and say that as well, but in the morning,. saying kids shoudln't be listening to his show

the sooner they find out that someone can't provide their every whim, the better it'll be for the economy

Damn socialist-commies with their myths - I'm sure Obama is at fault somehow! :pac:

Is he reduced to this to look for publicity?

    What a self regarding idiot.

Mad Men's Don Draper : What you call love was invented by guys like me, to sell nylons.

Ah in fairness I'd say he just forgot himself.

Exactly, and even that's been maybe a little harsh on the guy.

He is a massive star in the states and has better options if it was just publicity he was after.

Gabriel is not living in country for years and he was used to the Late Late when it was a hard hitting topical discussion show.

It used to be an 'adult' programme.

When I was growing up you daren't go near the sitting room when The Late was on.

There was just an air that that show was not suitable for kids.

Anyway, I was upstairs watching Minder on portable hoping to see some boobies ;)

to the guy who reckons his 14 year old believes in Santa:
She doesn't. Shes still pretending to, so that she will get presents, or so that she doesn't dissapoint you. If she has communicated in any level with her peers she knows.

    Apologies if she is special.

    This one Pride ..

Kids who believe in Santa shouldnt be up late on a Friday night watching The Late Late Show. Parents who let young children watch late night TV have only themselves to balme if their childrens view of Christmas is warped as a result.

Since the age group was brought up... teenagers would probably be watching late night TV on a Friday night, but for a teenager to believe in Santa is far from the norm, it's a myth for little children not young adults.

Anyway regardless, after the watershed it's fair game I say, Christmas or not.

He was just having a laugh to lighten things up a bit, I mean he was talking about clerical abuse before then but that I suppose that doesn't have anything to do with children.

    I care.

In fact it probably did warp how you see Christmas and the whole Santa/parent/child relationsip - I mean, you hardly come across as a bundle of joy and full of the Christmas spirit.

O RLY? thank you for using your super-mod powers to stare into my very soul and identify the defect which makes me a broken human being. clearly if only I had believed in Santy into my 20s I wouldn't be the this cynical, joyless, shell of a man...

or alternatively, stick your stupid, glaringly false assumptions up your hole mister
