Javelins Bugged on x box?

Dunno if this is working as intended but there a whole host of **** heads running around when javelins now and when you shoot them from any sort of close or Medium Distance you die aswell as it goes off and manages to hit you :rolleyes: anyone else ?

Charge missile, change weapon. When you die anythign close to you dies

Yes I noticed this one yesterday too and was going to start a thread. its very annoying - to the point I stopped playing last night with the idiots who were doing it. I may even by Left4Dead2 and play that instead.

The riot shield one is you have a few(or one person) people on your team throw semtex onto thetop left hand corner of your shield then just harge enemys... BOOOOM

Is there a specific reason why you throw it onto the top left?

Really hope IW come out with a fix for this soon. It's bad enough now, but soon when most players unlock the javelin it'll be a disaster.

There will always be people who exploit flaws in the game, like the 'cancel reload' that exploits the reload animation to reload faster...meaning you can reload as quickly as sleight of hand without selecting the actual perk :rolleyes:

That sort of shenanigans is just another form of glitching imo

I have to say the javelin one is the most annoying, thou i havne't seen the shield one yet. didn't see the javelin one since yesterday but then it seemd like everyone was doing it so i quit

I got an update for pc version yesterday , wonder if its fixed? hope so.

I take it back. The most annoying was the guys last night using marathon pro, lightweight pro, commando pro, tactical knife AND the friggin Javelin glitch all together. ARGHGHGHGGHGHHGHGHG

Had some clown "Master Cheek" using the javelin trick yesterday. Best thing to do is do the gamer card thing and file complaint. At least you wont play against them again.

Rob bowling has said the patch is with MS for review now thank god for that. I think dual 1887's and the "witch" class type are having a bad effect on the multi game as well but that wont be patched out anytime soon.

I tend to not have a problem with how people play the game (camping, using certain classes to their advantage etc). Its just people blatantly cheating by exploiting glitches that shouldnt happen.

MS are been ridiculous, how can you determine if somebody is doing this on purpose or my mistake (which I'm sure thousands of people have done so at this stage). It's crazy banning people for it, just put the patch on live and all will be restored to normal.

In fairness that's not all that bad and is at least in line with the mechanics of the game.

And neither the javelin exploit or the riot shield semtex is as bad as Akimbo 1887s.

I dont think you can do this by accident its fairly deliberate and also MS will probably only ban people after a number of complaints from other players so if someone does do it by "accident" they probably won't be banned.

The girlfriend's brother was playing online and he said its almost unplayable with fcukers doing it at the mo.

Edit: i looked at the vid above and its very deliberate thing that you need to do. People being banned by "accident" aint gonna happen.

they have the grenade launcher in this game again, iw even made a weapon just to do that.
they won't get rid of it the 1887 stuff nor the witch
the suicide bomb is a glitch every thing else will stay in the game

I was just playing sub base with 3 fcukers doing it and it made the game ****. I started to camp in a overwatch position just so I had a chance of killing the mofo's without getting blown up. Got 24 kills and 23 deaths which is pretty bad but id say 15 of those deaths were from the same 3 guys blowing me up after they were killed. Some of them even have the balls to just run at you like a suicide bomber...twats.

Rant over. The sooner IW introduces a fix the better.
